Well... there are quite a few of us in our twenties here. I think there are fewer teenagers on LA now than there used to be. We all grew up. XD

Age is less the question than the relative maturity of the members. I find members of LA to be mature compared to most forums. As least it seems we all try to use proper spelling and keep to some rules of grammar, and that does a lot in portraying relative intelligence and maturity.

...but at the same time we still have our fun!

I think wisp is right.. most are in their twenties however there are a few young ones ^ and there are people who are probably young but act older so we never really know.

You should start a poll asking what respondents ages are, and then throw them into a calculator, if you'd really like to know.

I'm 47, so I'll probably throw the results off a bit.

I think wisp pretty much hit it; a lot of the regulars are older, simply because they grew up. Considering that this forum is somewhere in the realm of...how old? I think nearly 8 years at this point..
It is true that even the younger people act pretty mature. On occasion we get someone who acts like a typical Internet n00b, but I'm glad that people here are generally well behaved, but still fun. ^^

Have you been to Contro lately?

I'm 17, but I'm turning 18 in a week. I joined when I was 13, i.e. a teenager. Now I'm about to become a young adult. o.O

I'm 21.

I've tried participating in an active dorm where the average age was...actually 14.
*facepalm*

They had the mental maturity of...what... maybe 5-year-olds?

That place sucked.

Young? That seems kind of normal to me...

Hm, when did my parents get married? I ought to be able to work out... My Mum must have been 29, and my Dad... um... 23? I don't know how old he is, that's pretty bad... Probably 23.

I'm 22. Wow, I can't really imagine getting married to a 28 year old...

One generation ago it might be more or less common (though not so much, most people of the age of my parents got married when they were around 30 years old), but I can assure you I know no-one that age already married and with children.
