"I have been waiting for you, Kami-Dao."
Motoko was a bit surprised when she heard a mysterious voice in her head. Wh-who--!!
I am the mystic longbow, Tenshi no Arashi, and I have chosen you to be my new master. Suddenly, the bow that Perseus had used appeared in her hand. As she held it, the jewels started to glow as if sensing her feelings

"These people really are full of surprises..."
He went back on his way to the cargo hold. Pain suddenly shot through his chest; he was moving around in the light of the sun too long. He no longer cared about what was happening on deck; he decided to stay in his little spot until nightfall...

Dammit...it takes so long for a day to go by...theres nothing to do. At least the seabeast kept us entertained...time flies in a battle...
He looked at the bow, then just shook his head and walked aimlessly up and down the deck.
Keh. Boring...

She was heading right for Z.
As a precaution, he followed her trail, she could never be to safe...mostly around him...

Then Z woke up. "What the hell...? Why would I have such a dream?" He sat back against the wall. "I know I'm stronger than those two... but then again..."
He flashed back to the time when Motoko and Kitsune used their combined attack on him. The attack was devastating to a boy of his dark nature.
[/i]"...they are stronger when they are together. If I fight them, I guess I'll have to make sure that they are separate, not in the area..."[/i]
He then noticed the door to the hold creaking open. Motoko was walking in, heading towards the bag of food.
"Speak of the devil..." Z thought, glaring at the girl. He also sensed Kitsune nearby, no doubt following her. Z decided to stay put; he was in no condition to risk fighting them both.

As soon as she entered, Motoko could sense that Z was in the darkest corner of the room. She pretended not to notice him and picked up the bag of food. She was heading back to the door when she suddenly turned around and backflipped out of the room with a smile on her face

"Ouch...get off...my stomach..." She noticed she was standing on him as she moved off in a rather embarassed tone.
He got back up, and wiped the dust off his clothing.
"Well. Youre fine. Lets go back to the upper deck." He said as he took hold of her hand and went back to the upper levels...

After the little girl Motoko had calmed the sea serpent down, Lena had decided to stay out on the deck of the ship, picking up the breeze of the salty sea and having her hair flow behind her. It was almost as if it were the hour of twilight. The clouds had begun to form in, blocking the sun, and making it seem as if it were sunset. She thought it was the best time to train her mind and her spiritual powers as she sat on the deck.
She started to like comming to this spot, for some reason, she could leave all her negative thoughts and relax.
She then heard a loud thump come from the lower levels. Probably was Kitsune involved with something else, she didn't know what though. She then heard the footsteps comming up to the deck. Ones were heavier like a mans, while the other was the pitter patter of a child's. She was right that involved Kitsune, it was probably him and the girl Motoko.
However, she still sat were she was and tried to harness all the yin on the ship, and make it turn into yang. (yin and yang are energies, yin bad and yang good).

Z couldn't help but laugh at Motoko's failed attempt at acrobatics. He never gave that, or his dream for that matter, a second thought. Considering the noise that those two were making, he'd never be able to get any sleep. He also realized that he hadn't eaten in two days.
Z got up, heading over to the bag of food... which was gone. He then remembered that Motoko took it. After cursing quietly at his misfortune, he searched the other bags in the cargo hold. He then found another bag full of food, mostly meat products. Z could only smile; considering this was originally a pirate ship, he wasn't surprised. He took a lump of meat and an apple, then quietly ate them in his corner.

and dlink: maybe you should tone down on the power a bit?...i mean look at me, i probably couldnt defeat kitsunes great aunt.
Perseus watched as the sea monster was swiftly driven away by motoko before it caused much trouble.
That probably wont keep it away for long, it seems to be defending something.
That Motoko is powerful, with only a simple tune she can calm mighty titans…
Perseus flew up to the mast again, to finish his thinking.
About 15 minutes later, Perseus noticed that the bow was missing from his back.
That’s strange… I must’ve left it in the hold…
Perseus checked for his knives, they were still there, then where had his bow gone… stolen?
The ship sailed on, guided by Ken towards an unknown destination.
It began to rain.
A storm?
Perseus took on a troubled expression. He was helpless in storms, grounded.

"Ken," She asked him, looking back at the clouds. "Are you going to try and drive this boat through the incomming storm? Maybe we should just let it pass.

After eating his "meal," Z tried once again to get some sleep. However, he noticed several plinking sounds from above the deck.
"Raindrops..." he thought, then smiled. "Perfect. Considering that its almost nighttime, I can go out there and heal early."
Z made his way up to the deck, seeing Perseus up in the mast. Apparently he didn't like storms. He also noticed Ken, and someone he hadn't noticed before; Lena. He sensed a lot of light energy within her; not as great as Perseus', but still a threat. Z had other plans, though. He sat on the deck in a meditative position; his body began to glow with a dark purple aura. His strength was returning.
"This is gonna take a while... I hope Perseus or the girl don't sense my darkness and disrupt my meditation..."

The wind howled, cutting at his skin like a cold knife.
So much had happened throughout the last few days, and even in that short voyage they had already encountered mysterious magic, sea monsters and what was looking to be a killer storm. And through all that, he had finally grown the crews trust, which he was pleased about. It had started with Kitsune, though even now he held a somewhat awkward relationship with the half-demon, The rest of the crew seemed to be excepting him more and more just because Kitsune had given him a chance.
I’ll have to repay him.
Perseus looked down to see everyone milling about the ship, preparing for the storm, were they planning to sail straight through it, or wait for it? Either way, Perseus could already feel the cramping in his wings that would occur if he was to stay grounded for two long.
He saw Motoko, just as she was walking across the deck, donning his bow.
…hmmmm now that’s interesting... did she steal that from me?
Perseus thought he would leave it alone for now, and wait for her to explain herself.
Perseus eyes wondered again to Lena.
I am sure I’ve met her somewhere…
Suddenly lightning struck the top of the mast, instantly killing the man in the crows nest, he screamed and plummeted down to the deck, a sickening crunching sound announcing his arrival. The ship lurched as a huge wave suddenly struck the ship, Perseus fell off the mast, and fell toward the deck, just righting himself in the air on time.
He landed crouched on the deck, the ship continuing to shake.
“We need to get those sails up!”

"What the hell are you doing!? Are you trying to get us killed!?" Z yelled.

Motoko quickly released herself from Kitsune's grasp and grabbed the nearest rope she could find and pulled.

Huh? I thought we were the only ones on the ship... He got back to concentrating on the sails.
And why the hell are we putting up sails when our ship was just struck by lightning? Ill never understand the sea.
He concentrated some Ki energy into the large sails, the ropes werent the easiest things to handle.
"Damn storm. Damn you seas! Accursed water demons..." He mumbled to himself while attending to the different jobs to do during the storm.

His meditation would just have to wait. He took out his spike chain and wrapped some threads around it and his hands. He then hurled it up into the air, aniupulating it with the threads and dark energy as if it were a puppet. A lightning bolt was about to strike the ship, but was caught by the spike chain as it conducts electricity.
"We can't have the mast and sails blowing up on us, now can we? I'll keep the lightning at bay."

[@LightGoddess: Just because she's barely a year old, doesn't mean she looks that age. She does have the body of a 17 year old, ya know]
(ooc. Really? Sorry about that Gabe!)
Lena also went and grabbed a few ropes, but put on her robe beforehand so that her only pair of clothes would be wet, sadly however, the top already did get drenched from the incomming rain and lightning. For a second there she also thought that she sensed a dark aura floating on the wet deck. Hm...interesting, she thought.
But for now, her mind was set on pulling these ropes as fast as she could, and then she could go to her room downstairs.

He sat up and looked around him, wondering what had happened. What was going on? He got up and headed up to the main deck. He was still half asleep, so when he got up to the main deck and saw that everyone was being tossed about in the storm, he shrugged it off for a moment and went back down to the lower floors. Then, his eyes went wide and he stepped back up onto the deck.
Aye, what be ye doin' on the deck? Go below, open a keg of the rum and get loose before ye start sorin' up yer body, ye bloody fool
Why are you still here? Didn't I tell you not to bother me anymore? And it couldn't come at a worse time.
They don't need your help, trust me. Save the rum, first. Maybe you can right your wrongs some other day
Look at all of 'em though...they can't handle the ship.
So what, you think they're incapable of handling their own selves? Do you want me to tell them that you think they are weak?
Of course no--
Leave 'em be, then. Get loose. Go below. Everything will be fine.
I can't. It's not right.
You and your morals. Let me loosen you up!
All of a sudden Button's right arm flew up and hit him hard in the face, knocking him backwards and into the decks below.
(ooc: there, my reintroductory post)

Perseus continued running about the ship, trying to help get the sails down. his wings were drenched and heavy, limiting his movements, and every so often he had to shake them out, leaving his muscles tired and cramped.
We need someone experienced up here... hardly any of us know a thing about sailing...
He then saw captain button, stagger onto the deck.
If he could take command, they might be able to get out of this alive.
"Ahoy! Button! You and Ken need to take command of the ship! Were all gonna die if you dont do something."
Then, he saw Button slap himself and fall over.
"Oh no..."

Oh, now look where your moment of weakness has gotten you. Guess I have to take over for a little while, don't I?
Don't you dare!
All of a sudden, Cap'n Button's body stood up and looked around. He moved his legs and his arms and cracked his neck. And then, with a malevolent smile, he walked up on deck and surveyed the scene around him.
People were being tossed about everywhere, and he could see no one steering the ship. With no effort at all, Button walked calmly and immediately began to steer the ship, turning it a bit so that the ship wouldn't be so much tossed around and allowing a chance for the sails to be put up.
There was a problem. The way he turned the ship was at an awkward angle, and because the sea was choppy and waves had begun to furiously crash against the ship, Button had put himself and the ship in a very bad situation. His fears were confirmed. A large wave crashed against the ship and pushed the ship down a large wave of water. The ship tumbled down and hit the water, causing it to violently tilt the other direction. But Button was fast, and turned the ship into it's best storm defensive angle. It all happened in an instant. The ship was righted, and the waves continued tossing the boat about.
All the while Button was calmly singing to himself
Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees
and begged you not to
leave because I'd go berserk?? Well...
You left me anyhow and then the days
got worse and worse and now you see
I've gone completely out of my mind
What a time!
With a malevolent grin on his face he tried to gain control of the ship to the best of his ability, but it was proving to be a rough job.

He switched between looking at the map and checking around, making sure that the crew would not get lost. He also watched the Cap'n, noting some piloting methods for when he would be at the helm again.

"A stowaway... huh. Whatever. As long as he helps..."
Another wave crashed into the ship, sending a barrel rolling right into Z. He was knocked down and the barrel rolled over top of him, almost flattening him; whatever was in that barrel, it was heavy. Z struggled to get up when he noticed his chain falling; he quickly righted it before another lightning bolt struck. It was absorbed by the chain.
"Ow... that was painful... thanks to that barrel, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up..."

Z saw Motoko looking around for... someone or something, then run inside.
"Hmph. Must be looking for her boyfriend..." he thought. "Hey, come to think of it, where did Kitsune run off to?" Z then noticed something. The lightning had stopped, and the rain was letting up. With the lightning gone, Z could relax. He let his chain down, tucked it into his coat and began meditating again. The shaking of the sea still disrupted him from time to time, but it wasn't as bad as before.

Even if the boat didnt survive, id just use a wooden plank as a boat, and my sword as the paddle...Keh. I could go on longer than a human without food or water.
Kitsune was obviously thinking the ship wasnt going to make it.
It doesnt matter. At least it gave me a headstart back to the mainland...then I can get away from this crew.
He continued day dreaming as the rest of the crew were tending to their duties...
