I don't know about everyone else but I sure do hope some of those accusations against the Mormons are true. I mean becoming a God of your own planet when you die? That's cool! It better be true or I'll be surely dissappointed in the next life when my dreams of making a real Super Mario world are crushed.

....Who, for the record, can't really 'hate' what they don't believe in. 'Hate' is usually directed at the pushy followers of said religion. Satanists, though, now there's probably some hate for the big man upstairs.

I think he meant the godless heathens.
....Who, for the record, can't really 'hate' what they don't believe in. 'Hate' is usually directed at the pushy followers of said religion. Satanists, though, now there's probably some hate for the big man upstairs.
They hate the idea of a God, how about that? They're too proud. Most people tend to think they're the highest beings ever. And that they can become Gods. But that's simply naive. It's just arrogant to think you can become a God.
And what really, at the very core, ticks me off about Mormonism, is that it directly goes against what Jesus says. You can't claim to be a follower of Jesus if you don't...well, you know.... follow Jesus...? So in my eyes, it is a cult.
I could sit here all day and post quotes about what Jesus said next to quotes from the Book of Mormon, and quotes from Joseph Smith. And you can say they've been taken out of context, and are biased. Okay, you want me to give you a quote that can't possibly be taken out of context? How about the Last paragraph in the Book of Revelation?
Yeah, I can see where that verse says "Write your own doctrine that only you have seen. Be sure to change it monthly to fit your ethics at the time."Revelation 22: 18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Credibility? The only things I hear from anyone are "that's bias" "that's not true" "you're wrong" "you're close minded" etc. etc. etc.
But I haven't repeated myself. And that is all I hear. I think that is where the Credibility is. You can say whatever you want about me.... it doesn't matter. If I'm wrong, who cares? What, I don't become a God. Big Whoop. I'm not arrogant enought to want to be a God. Consider if I'm right. You're screwed.
Oh, and I can't forget the sarcasm. Sarcasm is a waste of everyone's time. If you want to be so hot on what is bias, don't be a smart ass. Show me where I am wrong. Show me how to correct it. Sarcasm will piss me off. Putting words into my mouth will piss me off.
But that's what you want, isn't it? Yes...
Tell me something I don't already know
I know you can't stand these things I'm preaching in the streets
But how can I contain the truth I hold inside
With all the hurting people that I see?
But I don't mind putting up with you and all the things you say
I'm not about to stop or even change my ways.

I think that's a misperception about nonbelief. Not all atheism is rooted in egotism. I don't even know why there HAS to be a hierarchy among beings. They hate the idea of a God, how about that? They're too proud. Most people tend to think they're the highest beings ever. And that they can become Gods. But that's simply naive. It's just arrogant to think you can become a God.

Due to human nature, however, that is impossible. People exploit freedom beyond any necessity. If no one has to give, no one will. Everyone will simply take. That is why Anarchy is considered as a negative. We know what COULD happen, but we also know what WOULD happen.

I know some anarchists who disagree. Either way, I think, makes a pretty bold statement about human nature.
And what would that be?
Just seeing if what I had in mind was what you did.

That we are or can be equals in any functional way. Or not. Both are rather hard to substantiate. And what would that be?
Just seeing if what I had in mind was what you did.
