OOC: My idea was that Daniel saw the spilling incident happen from a different view than Milo, and thus was able to spot perpetrator just before he disappeared. He also saw Goose’s character disappear and immediately reappear, and when he left he saw Goose and CyanideWyrm he made that reasoning. That was my thought anyway. Would you like me to do some edits though?

IC:

Daniel walked around some more, wishing that there was something to do. He ended up walking around the group of buildings to the one where his class was. He heaved a sigh.

“Might as well go in.” he muttered to himself.

Daniel walked in and down the hall to the classroom, and finding that the door was unlocked, decided to go in. He immediately noticed the same red-haired guy from before, but didn’t make eye contact. He instead just picked a seat in the third row from the front, pulling out his laptop onto the desk and powering it up.

OOC: Naah, I dont care..I just was stating because it sounded kind of like you made it so your character was 'all knowing' or better said..'God Modding' since sometimes it is hard to remember that things happen outside of your characters no how, you know like..how I myself personally knew who the 'oatmeal thrower' was but I had to remember that Milo cant see people who turned invisible so I had to pretend I didnt know when writing up my post.

IC: Milo glanced over as soon as he heard the familier creek of the door opening up and the sound of feet shuffling in. He glanced at the man from head to toe.

"Yo." He said simply and then gazed back out the window as he watched other students scurry on their way to class.

"So I take it I am not the only crazy person who goes to class early." He said still looking out the window. It was his way of saying he acknowledged the guys precense but wasnt feeling social enough to actually give him his attention. Of course Milo wasnt going to state that he usually was the kind of person who either showed up right on time or about 10 minutes late. Today of course he had suffered a ego beating so his habits were a little different then usual.

Milo then gazed back down at his empty peice of paper, he had yet to think of the perfect come back to somebody calling him a girl. He frowned and shook his head closing the notebook harshly and then just simply leaning his head down for a bit.

"Now I see why I never show up so early.." He muttered to himself thinking of how dang boring it is, plus, not to mention the fact that he gets to find out who is a suck up and know it all, being as though they were usually always to people to show up first.

Daniel’s stomach knotted up a little bit. He felt the obligation to at least say a few words to the other. However, the fact that did not feel that social in the first place in combination with the temper he saw earlier worried him.

Daniel stared at the computer screen, wondering what exactly he could do. He stared at the screen until the question came that he determined would be neutral enough.

“So, what is it you do?” Daniel asked without turning his head, “Or are you not one of the ‘gifted’ students?”

Milo glanced over at the guy for a second in acknowledgement that he was actually making an attempt to talk to him. He smirked and turned back towards the window.

"I wouldnt exactly call me 'gifted.'" He stated and flicked his finger to produce a small spark of electricity.

"But yes, I have a power, lightning." He stated simply glanced at the guy and then back out the window. He waited a while before speaking up again, not really liking the silence.

"And you?" He said simply as he gazed off. He didnt think that guy was exactly 'normal' as they called it, being as though he didnt look 100% human. But then again Milo appeared normal other then his flaming red hair, but that was his own addition, it wasnt his natural hair color.

Daniel jumped, his eyed bulged and his hearts skipped a beat as he heard the spark go off. It was as though he had met the incarnation of his deepest fear. He shivered controllably, but calmed a little as Milo said "And you?"

"I--I fly" he spoke.

Milo glanced at him and a sinister smirk came over his face as he saw him jump from his power. He looked at him sweetly and stated simply. "I take it you dont like lightning very much." He said wondering if he should take advantage of this situation to really make the guy fear something.

"Funny, I never heard of people who fly fearing lightning. But I guess then again it can shoot them down pretty fast with one bolt to the back." He said thinking on it.

"Either that..or there is more to you then innocent feather wings." He said looking at Daniel closely. "After all, water is really the only elemental weakness to lightning, but it works both ways." He said glancing back outside.

"So which is it, are you wings either made up of water or something else that tends to make it a sort of lightning rod?" He said winking at him.

Daniel began to sweat profusely. He was starting to feel paranoid—he swore he felt the folds of metal in his back start to tingle. He looked at Milo, but not straight in eye—he feared to reveal his anxiety. He tried to face his back away so that Milo would not see the slits in his shirt that showed the metal on his back. His hearts still pounding, he tried a change of subject.

“I am Daniel. Who are you?” he spoke, trying to cover the fear in his voice.

‘I will not show you something so exploitable so easily!’ he thought to himself.

The fish... was holding her hand. Her hand! Danae squirmed and jerked it away, uncomfortable from that simple gesture. She could only stand people if they kept their distance. Any sort of physical contact, especially with strangers, was just downright disturbing! The fact that his hand was scaly wasn't helping matters any.

"Hands off, Aquaman," she stated. Then, she took a long look around the nearby areas of the university campus. "Well, no, I can't say I have been to this 'rec center'. I've many hung out in my dorm and played video games when I wasn't at class."

She shrugged, not seeing any harm in the idea. "You seem more familar with the campus that I am, so feel free to lead the way. I don't have to get to class for a while."

Milo grinned, glad that he was at least causing some anxiety in this man. He finally snorted and looked away again feeling his answer was enough for him. He still wasnt sure of the actual answer metal, water, or just plain afraid of lightning but..he knew that this Daniel would give him a straight answer.

"Milo Harrison." He said simply to answer what his name was. "Just dont think that in me giving you my name it means we will be chums now." He said turning back to him an icy glare in his icy blue eyes.

"I dont have any friends and I bloody well dont want any." He said once again looking harshly back outside.

"Gawd damnit this class is never going to actually start." He thought to himself as he glared at the clock that seemed to be making this the longest half an hour of his life.

Toan shrugged to himself. He gazed in her eyes for a second and knew that she was not one that wanted to be touched - even without legimency it was obvious. Well, maybe she'll open up later! Toan thought somewhat happily to himself.

"C'mon then, you GOTTA see the Rec Center, it's so cool!" He began walking with Danae around the campus, humming a little pointless tune to himself. About 5 minutes later, they rounded a corner of a building, and there it stood.

"The LAville University Campus Recreation Center", large letters announced on the front of the enormous, new-age building. Inside, a variety of activities were at hand, anything from basketball to raquetball, treadmills and weights, a soccer field, and several Olympic sized pools, not to mention the student-run Game Room, full of billard tables, card tables, TVs and a minibar, for those eligible to drink.

"C'mon, you gotta see the pools inside! They're huge!" Toan led Danae into the large pool area, which was filled with many students enjoying themselves in between classes. Toan walked in, threw his shirt and pants off to reveal swim trunks and dove gracefully right in. He surfaced and looked at Danae and hollered "Jump on in!"

Danae followed along, just glad he had released her hand from his grasp. She took a look around the rec room, taking note of everything that there was to do. She'd never really been a 'jock' and generally found games like basketball and soccer quite boring, but the smaller tabletop games were interesting enough for her. As for the pool...

That crazy fish seemed to be making himself quite at home, not ashamed to practically strip right down in front of her, and plunged into the pool. As for Danae, she practically hissed, feeling like a cat who was about to be thrown into a bathtub. She backed up, with a look of disgust. She loathed water. Hated it. You were always cold and shivering after getting out of the pool, and then you uncomfortable from being soaked for the rest of the day. Nasty water!

"Gah, water? No friggin' way. You enjoy yourself, fish. I think I'll um... just watch," she said. And then, something caught her eye. There, off to the side and somewhat hidden by a wall, was a minibar.

Angels began to sing from up on high, and a light descended down from the sky (and through the ceiling, mysteriously enough) to highlight that golden brew that Danae did love so much. It was morning, but every fiber of her being was calling, search, desiring that spectacular liquid that made her day happy.

"Bye, fish!" Danae yelled, and then sprinted to that minibar with her wallet at the ready. Gathering up several bottles of alcohol, she began to swig them down almost instantly.

"Who's Irish? Somebody start a drinking song!"

Daniel cast a disdainful look at Milo.

'Definitely someone to be careful around.' he thought.

Daniel then turned around and pressed his back to the seat to hide the slits in his shirt, continuing to work more on his laptop. He twinged and grunted a few times in pain--extending and collapsing his wings so many times in one day was taking a toll on his back muscles. He then checked the time on his computer, finding more time would be neccasary before class would start.

'I wonder... How did he turn out so bitter?' Daniel thought to himself.

Tony waited a while, for the guys to reply, but they didn't seem to say much, so he went off to class. He loved being early, it allowed him to get the better seats, in the centre, not too close, ( no spittle from the teachers.) and not too far back (Can still hear) So, Tony walked in to the lecture theatre, only to see it deserted, apart from two others, the red nut, and that other quiet guy from earlier.

Not wanting to speak to either of them, Tony sat down and got his books out. He risked a glance back at the Red Nut, but the guy was just as ugly as usual. Meh, red nuts, they feel that because they have orange pubes, they have to compensate.

Milo continued to sulk in the back he was glad the guy finally got the idea to leave him alone. Although he was a little disappointed to lose the conversation, or more or less the entertainment of making him uneasy. He smirked when he spotted a new guy walking into the room.

"Hmm..fresh blood." He thought to himself eagerly. He got a disdainful look from the guy and decided that was probably his best shot at conversation for the moment.

"What?" He said after the guy turned back around. "What you never see a guy with crimson colored hair before?" He stated. Afterall he would think it would apparent to the guy that he died his hair, after all he didnt dye is black eyebrows, meaning yeah his hair wasnt naturally red.

"Bye, fish!"

Toan blinked a few times and looked around - Danae had vanished, and the Game Room door was slowly closing on it's own. Toan blinked some more. Swimming over the edge of the pool, he ignored the ladder and instead climbed out of the side of the pool and planted his feet firmly on the edge. He wobbled, and took a step forward to retrieve the small pile of shed clothing he'd left near Danae, but before he could reach it, Toan slipped. *THWACK*

"...."

"....urgh." Toan put both hands to his head, his eyes still shut. He realized he was on his back, and wondered how he'd gotten there. Then his ears kicked in, and he heard giggling. The Zora felt something was missing, and yet he felt more natural without it, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it, as both were on his head, keeping it from spinning away. Suddenly, he realized he didn't need to put his finger on it, he knew exactly what it was. His swim trunks were missing.

In one flash of an amazingly balletic movement, Toan was on his feet, eyes wide open but unable to see anything but a blur. Rubbing them frantically, the picture arranged itself. Girls all around him pointing and giggling, some in shock and awe. It wasn't so much as embarrassment for Toan (he certainly had nothing to be embarrassed about), but he was upset as he noticed not only had his swim trunks been stolen, all of his other clothing had too. Then the Zora heard an echoing snort of laughter emitting from behind the door in the concrete wall which led to the men's shower and locker room.

Surrounding students might have said that the naked Zora's body was either emitting steam or boiling what pool water was left on his skin, but those students were clearly imagining things. It is a fact though that Toan wasn't happy, not at all. At this point, the concrete wall exploded with such a force one would think a small bomb had gone off from the inside - fragments of concrete flew into the pool and littered the surrounding area. Screams filled the air, and students who heard or felt the explosion came pouring into the pool area; the Game Room alone sent in at least 2 dozen students, clutching liquor and billard sticks.

When the dust had cleared, three concrete powdered Terrors stood awestruck, holding Toan's clothing. The nude Zora flicked a finger at the clothes which soared to him, and he put them on. Toan spared them one last dirty look before he stumbled out of the pool area, weakened by the effects of his anger. He leaned against the Rec Center wall just outside, slid down it until he was sitting, and closed his eyes for a moment to recompose himself.

Tony tunred aroudn as teh guy replied to him. He could see that the guy had black eybrows. Ooooh, so he was a wannabe red nut, that was even worse. For a second he wondered if the guy died his pubes red, but then realised that he didn't want to think about the guys pubes, his face was ugly enough.

"Nah mate, I 've just never seen one so ugly. "

Daniel covered his face with a hand, sighing.

"Damnit, not again." he muttered under his breath.

The flyer glared at his laptop's screen--he really hated squabbles, especially ones as pointless as this. All such things were always a waste of time and resources better spent on other things. Daniel proceeded to type more into his journal.

'Why must people feel the need to argue at every opportune moment?' he thought to himself.

Danae was wide-eyed over what just happened, having fallen off her chain during the middle of the slight explosion. Apparently that loony fish had gone nude and then blown up half the place. What was it with those magic using kids always trying to emulate Carrie, anyway? Danae sat there with her bottle of beer still in her hand, having saved it from spilling.

She stumbled to her feet, hoping that she had fallen due to the explosion and not just from having taken in a few swigs of the drink too quickly. She, of all people, couldn't get plastered that easily! She headed over towards the fish, thinking that he should probably exit stage left right about now.

Danae headed outside, beer still in her hand, and stared at him. "Okay, Aquaman, I don't know what that was, and I don't care to. But, ah, we should probably just go to class early. Just to be on the safe side. Maybe they'll forget who was present and won't fine you!"

She started to walk off to English class, which still had some time before beginning. Waving for Toan to follow, she called back, "Hurry up, and don't strip anymore! If I wanted to see 3 1/2" floppies, I'd go to the computer lab!"

Milo glared at the guy. He was so tired of these stupid morons and their problems. As for this guy he had done nothing to him at all and here he was trying to pick some sort of fight with him. He just simply folded his hands across his chest still remaining in his seat. He was so tempted to just zap the hell out of both of them for a quick sudden death so they would just leave him the hell alone.

"I wouldnt be talking." He mumbled to the guy. He wasnt the kind to totally overreact over a simple comment as his, after all he was just trying to aggrivate Milo and he wasnt that easily monuevered.

"Although if you are trying to stir up some shit with me I will thoroughly enjoy knocking some sense in you if that is what you want after all, being such a fuck face up front like that might get you in some serious trouble one day mister." He said his eyes laughing from what he considered cleverness.

"Damn I swear, children these days never learn how to make a great first impression anymore. My mommy always taught me to say a simple how do you do, and introduce myself..and give a nice firm handshake. Meanwhile everyone here seems to be quite the opposite with their calling people ugly and throwing oatmeal at strangers. All barbarians I tell ya." He said obviously using some serious sarcasm being as though he had far from introduce himself the way he had stated.

He suddenly rose form his desk and walked over to the guy and stuck out his hand. "So Mr.call-me-ugly-straight-up my name is Milo Harrison it is VERY nice to meet you." He said reaching to shake his hand and wore the fakest and largest smile he possibly could.

"Excuse me, excuse me!" The loud, excited voice of a female interjected into the oh-so-elegant conversation that Tony and Milo had been enjoying, the attached body quickly sweeping in between the two boys without a single worry about the death-glares they were exchanging instead being turned on her. And in this school, death-glares really could be more than just a metaphor.

"You, mister foul-mouth," the short, rather busty redhead pointed a finger directly at Tony's face, "should know better than to wear a hat in a classroom, if you have any manners. And I'd like it very much if you tried not to bother my boyfriend here, unless you'd like to have a ticket through the wall and into the next classroom, courtesy of my fist. Isn't that right, Milo?"

The woman grabbed hold of one of the scarlet-haired boy's scrawny wrists with nothing short of an iron grip, pressing her thumb quite firmly into the middle of the slightly burned patch of skin that had been hit by oatmeal only shortly before. Naturally, she had never formally met him before in her life, and only knew his name from hearing his introduction to Tony amidst their squabble. She could only hope that the man would play along with her act so that the entire argument could end before someone got hurt- or worse, before the professor kicked someone out.

Oblivious to the idea that Tony might actually reply, let alone fight back, the woman dropped a bookbag that sounded like it was full of rocks onto the floor, plopped down unceremoniously into the seat next to Milo's, and imitated the seductive smile of a playful girlfriend for onlookers as she whispered in his ear, "I'm not in this class, but I just wanted to make sure that you were okay after I saw those Terrors trying to get the better of you earlier, and now with these Hawks trying to make matters worse."

She finally released the grip on Milo's wrist, making no comment over the fact that the redness from oatmeal burn had completely disappeared. She winked a green eye and continued in a chipper whisper, "My name is Fiona, and I'm a second-year in your house. It's nice to meet you!"

Daniel eyed Fiona for a few seconds before turning back to his computer.

"Good enough." he muttered.

Daniel felt grateful that the argument had been disbanded, if only for awhile--it would be inevitable that there would be more fighting. But in the mean time he was grateful for a few moemnts of silence, sans the whispers Fiona was making to Milo.

Toan gave a weak laugh and attempted to stand. His legs wobbled dangerous as he groped his hands along the wall, guiding himself to his feet. Never in his life had he lost his temper quite like that, and Toan correctly assumed that this was just one helluva nasty side effect. Standing fully erect, he sighed and slowly walked toward Danae. With each progressive step he felt more and more unbalanced... and Danae seemed further than ever. Finally reaching her side, he couldn't stand on his own anymore, and fell onto Danae.

"....P-Please help me..." He mumbled.

"Huh?" Danae muttered, not really listening nor caring to how Toan reacted to her orders.

She began to turn then, and went wide eyed as she saw Toan falling towards her. His forehead smashed against her arm, and she, not one for sympathy or understanding, simply let him fall to the ground where he eventually came to rest face-down. She stared at him in wonder, raising an eyebrow in confusion. This day was getting weirder and weirder. Maybe she should have just gone to a normal school after all.

"...the hell is wrong with you, Aquaman?" She asked. When he didn't respond, she nudged him with her foot.

Sighing, Danae knelt down at long last, and pushed him when she reached his level. Damn. It seemed physical force wasn't going to cut it. Looking around somewhat nervously, Danae wasn't sure what to do. The logical thing would be to dump him with a nurse, if they were on hand at this place, or at the very least a med student. But then, she still didn't know where anything was.

Which left one alternative: Let the English teacher deal with it. Grabbing Toan, she successfully draped him over her shoulder like a sack of laundry, her physical strength finally coming in handy. Not really weighed down despite his size, Danae headed towards her designated classroom, ignoring the confused or concerned looks passers-by gave her. She entered the building and headed up to the classroom itself, kicking the partially opened door until it opened up fully to the point where it slammed against the wall.

There was that redhead from the oatmeal incident, as well as the other guys that had been hanging around. There was, in addition, some other new redhead who was way too energetic and flirty for Danae's liking. She walked over to an empty chair and slumped the Zora in it, and shook his head in order to try and get him to wake up.

Giving up, she sat down with a sigh. It was the teacher's problem now!

Milo jerked his desk suddenly towards the window to try and distance himself from this crazy nut job of a girl. "What the hell are you babbling on about." He said in a confused and irriate voice as he attempted to get as much space between himself and the whack job.

"For one get your hand off of me, and for two, I have never met you before in my goddamn life and I can handle my own battles." He said rising delibretely out of his seat to move somewhere as far away as this woman.

"Now I would advice you to go to your own damn class and stay the HELL away from me!" He shouted at the girl as he reached forward to yank her out of the seat.

"And I would recommend getting those delusions out of your head, I am NOT your boyfriend nor am I your cousin, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, lover, boss, coworkers, or any other sort of relation that would SOMEHOW pair the two of us up." He said angerly glaring at the woman.

"Oh great..and we are in the same house." He muttered to himself thinking that this was just another great conclusion of how he had nothing in common with any of the foul people who were in his dorm.

"Maybe if I am lucky she is on the bottom floor all the way down the hall."

"And dont you even THINK of stopping at my dorm room and bringing me milk and cookies, because we are NOT friends! Get it? Got it? GOOD."

"What happened to him?" Daniel asked Danae.

When Tony heard the red-nut-wannabes reaction to the girl, Tony couldn't help but utter a laugh. She was just as powerful as his older sister, whom Tony had just got away from, and Tony knew how to deal with women like this, hide.

Maybe she'd forget about him if he just hid from her. One time, while his sisters were chasing him around the house, saying they were going to eat his eyes he hid under one of their beds for 4 hours, and eventually they left him alone. Albeit he was 4 at the time, but it still might work. As he grew older, he learned to hide in his room. He hoped for this Milo's sake he knew how to hide.

Speaking to the girl he said. "I dont think he likes you."

As Fiona was wrenched out of her seat like a trout caught by a vicious fishing lure, her already wide eyes only continued to increase in size, green as grass and as scared as a deer’s. She really couldn’t understand half of what Milo was saying to her, in part because it was so loud that it rung in her ears, but mostly because she was so stunned by his outburst that she’d begun to panic. All that she really caught from his uproar was that he wanted her to stay away because he found her delusional, and he apparently did not like milk and cookies. Whatever the case, he was NOT acting very nice at all. Tony’s comment of "I don’t think he likes you” didn’t help add to her peace of mind in the least.

“I…was just trying to help,” the female counterpart to the angry redhead slowly whispered, a trace of saline beginning to form like dew against her tear ducts. “But if you can’t even accept that…”

Her eyes somehow managing to widen further, but this time as part of an expression that seethed with rage, the girl held up one tightly clenched fist, her knuckles visibly white. Too white, in fact, as though a haze were emanating from it, a light not entirely different from that which might appear about Milo’s own fist if he’d intended to give someone a lightning-infused punch. But then the woman hesitated, looking more embarrassed than outraged. She quickly slipped away from Milo and grabbed up her heavy bag, perching one strap on her shoulder and offering a meek smile.

“I’m so sorry, I was about to make a fool out of myself. You can get into really big trouble if you injure another student, especially in a classroom.” As though it were meant to be nothing more than a period to punctuate the end of her sentence, her still-clenched fist dove quickly through the fiberboard top of the desk she had just been sitting at. Again she smiled, adding as an afterthought, “Especially if the injury is potentially fatal.”

Fiona spun on one heel, a skirt of bronze and cinnabar hair flying momentarily behind her as she walked purposefully back toward the classroom door. However, her exit was more dramatic that she could possibly have intended. Although the path to the door was more than wide enough, the girl somehow managed to trip over something- it could have been the edge of a desk, a shoelace, a slight rise in the linoleum tile, or possibly even just her own foot- and she began to topple forward into the first desk that happened to be in her way.

The redheaded girl gasped and emitted a quick shriek as she found herself breathing in a mixed scent of chlorine and fish, and hastily tried to pull herself off the shoulder of the still unconscious Toan before she could become nauseous from the overwhelming smell. Throwing panicked glances around the classroom, she finally sighted the door again and rushed toward it at full speed, running into no fewer than three other students as they made their way into the English class. Then as suddenly as she came, Fiona had disappeared back down the corridors, leaving the classroom in peace once again.

Very vagugly, Toan registered that he'd been hoisted up onto Danae's shoulder as she made her way to class, supporting him. The Zora eased his way into an unconscious state of bliss - until he felt himself moved from Danae's shoulder into something hard, like a seat. Admist him was talking, many voices, but it didn't matter really. At one point he got bumped into and something warm fell onto his shoulder but it quickly left. All the Zora knew was he needed just a little bit more sleep, maybe 20 minutes...

Unperturbed, Toan left this world and entered another as he drifted off into sleep....

Rek stood silent outside the window. He had let his mind wonder again. He was thinking about the sky once again, but for no real reason. He couldn't figure out why his head was in the clouds so often these days. He blinked a few times, and then, after noticing he was almost late for his class, started off at a sprint for his English class. His sleek black coat and hair whipped in the wind at the speed he was sprinting.

Seeing the Language and Humanities Building drawing closer and closer, he simply ran faster and faster. As he reached the steps, he lifted off the ground with a slight jump, clearing the entire stoope.

Rek stopped dead in his tracks, realizing what he had just done. He looked back down at the steps, knowing it was near impossible to leap up all of them in one jump.

Shaking his head slightly, he turned and continued the race against time. He frantically searched the halls for his professor's name on one of the doors. Finally finding it, he tried to regain his composure. He took a deep breath and entered the room. His eyes widened slightly as he saw nearly everyone that was just at the scene in the bakery.

He wlaked down two rows, eyeing everyone in the room. Even the annoying red-head was there. Still breathing somewhat heavy, his eyes darted around the room, taking in each student's profile.

After seeing everyone in the class so far, he took his bookbag off his back and pulled out a notebok and a simple wooden pencil. He was already hoping this class went quick. But at the same time, he wished the red-head would say something to him.
