I don't think I'll be buying any of the new consoles for many, many years.

Oh right XD Okay yeah well those are the consoles. But if the controller for the REV is revolutionary, then its not normal...
normal meaning that anyone would pick it up ( like my grandparents:lmao: )

Why? Man I'm mad at how you guys ONLY like Nintendo I'm serious it's like you guys are Console Racist or something but this idea of the Controller sucks...But for the Revolution Controller I expected something else to take that idea...And the Revolution Controller will rock...HOPEFULLYSo...youre judging consoles by their controllers? Thats sad. Well whatever, I just know im staying away from the XBOX 360.

There is no console racism or whatever. it's just Nintendo has been way longer than Sony or Microsoft.
and, yes the Rev controller will ROOOOOCK!!!!!!!!!!

Well yes that is true but in my viewpoint Sony and Microsoft have surpassed Nintendos graphics and hardrive, etc.
so did the dreamcast back then, but where did sega go... making sonic games.

Funny how you used the "Have you even picket one up?" quote for the PS3 controller, yet make comments like "hard to get used to" for the Rev controller.I dissagree
Its a lame design, hard to get used to, has stupidly laid out buttons and people are used to the two hand held controllers. I know that its called 'The Revolution' and nintendo want to Revolutionise gaming, but it was a big mistake to do it with a controller like that
Yes, we're used to the traditional gameplay controller but that certainly does not mean we can't accept new ways of playing.
BTW, you do know that there's going to be a traditional shell for the Rev controller to plug into and then it'll become a more traditional controller right?
Well, you can't say that it's a good idea just because the arguments against it thus far have been very very poor. We'll see when they show off the games. Nevertheless while I am accepting of it I am ultimately not very favorable to people who don't want to try something because it's new to them. Thank god we weren't like that when the d-pad replaced the joystick eh?I think the fact that the only arguments people have made about the Revolution control are "It's st00pie" and "It looks like a dildo" shows that it really is a good idea.

PS3 and Xbox's controllers are practically the same controller as teh past generation. In no way is the rev controller NORMAL. i think nintendo is now trying waaaaaaay to hard to be different. they are trying to appeal to a larger demographic but that is beside the fact that they are still video games and some people just arent interested. i was all for buying a revolution before i saw the controller. this controller is forcing the rev to be the last nintendo console. it will easily do the worst in sales.look:
PS3 C.:bumerang
Xbox360 C.: freaky
Rev C.:NORMAL...oh and revolutionary
BTW, you do know that there's going to be a traditional shell for the Rev controller to plug into and then it'll become a more traditional controller right?
but you'll have a remote in one hand and a joystick in the other. its going to be the jankiest controller in existence.

Shut up. Just shut the **** up.
Don't judge the controllers yet. None of you, and I mean none of you can vouch for the controller/system you support. Whither it's X-Box 360, Revolution or Playstation 3, no one can account for these systems. None of you can say you have personally handled each controller and can sayone is better than the other. Have you handled a revolution controller? No. Therefore you cannot say whither it is bad or good, and same applies to the other console controllers. So wait until the console has released, and actually play the damn thing for a few weeks before judging it.
Thank you.

Hey kids! lets all get an X-Box 360! It's got 3 good games in it's future, so letrs all waste 350+ dollars to get one!! x.x wrong! Plus, the controller is...exactly the same! how cool is that!!
X-Box = X
Hey kids! Lets get the PS3, cause it's for teh big boys! It's got 1,599,798 GB and 220 HP, and weighs 50 lbs! And it's only $500! But, wait, we still don't have a hard drive (+50), a game (+60), and a controller (+40)! So lets take a loan and buy a PS3!
PS3 = X
Hey everybody! Lets go get the Nintendo's sweet new Revolution! It actually offers something different, unlike the other two! And, the controller is wicked cool! I see no flaws, because if you want to play "the old way" you can buy the 'shell' So what've you got to lose? $250? as apposed to $700. make the right choice.
but that's getting off-topic. The controllers look great; all of them. However, the rev's controller is the best. think of it this way: you complain it's shaped like a TV remote, but when you have nothing to do and jump on the couch to watch tv, you don't complain that you have a "remote", do you? and since when is a '3D mouse-controller' a bad thing? it's the step before virtual reality consoles, people!! this is big, in a positive way. think about it.

Umm... that's for games that play in that fashion. The "shell" will basically be a regular controller-like object that the rev controller will plug into for more traditional games. You're not going to be holding the analog stick (which the shell will have anyway), free-style controller (since it'll be plugged into the shell itself) and shell controller at the same time.but you'll have a remote in one hand and a joystick in the other. its going to be the jankiest controller in existence.

It's pre-bout boasting, like at a heavyweight championship. If you don't like it, don't read threads containing it.

Of course he does. He makes perfect sense. But it's all for the thrill of the taunting, so long as we don't get into outright console bashing (which, it seems, some people want to do).
I still maintain, however, that they all suck. That's not favoring one over the other! I just hate all equally. I can do without the Dildo, Boomerang and Mr. Bling. I'm still trying to make the most of my PS2, I can't get a new console now. ;_;
