A Zelda movie probably wouldn't be as good as the games, though. LotR isn't as good as the book. Often erroneously called a trilogy, it is in fact one book in six parts, sometimes published in three volumes. The Silmarillion is a little dry.

Well, I beg to differ. I enjoyed the movie just as much as the books, if not more. Actually, what I liked about both was so different, I can't really compare the two. And for a VIDEO GAME, the differences would be IMMENSE, and there'd be no way to compare the two good experiences.
And yes, the Silmarillon bored me to tears and made me feel very cornfused at the end....I dare anyone not to feel cornfused on the first read-through.
