i had a great idea awhile back for more Bebop episodes! they need to make a short OVA series, maybe like 4 to 6 episodes, on how Spike and Jet met and decided to partner up in the bounty hunting gig ^^

i enjoy:
Cowboy Bebop- Love the characters, love the plots, love the incredibly sad ending, and most of all, i love the way it was done.
Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X OVA's- Trust and Betrayal put Kenshin really close to my number one spot. Trust and Betrayal alone is enough to make the series itself better, because it gives you a much more indepth look at Kenshin's past, and makes you look at the reasoning behind his "no kill" phylosophy
FLCL- characters are also good, funny plot, overall good story, fun to watch all in one run ^_^
Hellsing- fun weapons XD vampires, good plot, overall enjoyable
Berserk- great storyline! (bought a baelet... however the hell it would be spelt... necklace ^_^) lotsa action, large man with larger swords, the story of a warriors struggle against... a lot lol

fav anime's: Naruto, rouni keshin, inuyasha and trigun

worst anime's: dragonball/z/gt: it is badly drawn, has naff characters and bad storys and also when they power up they sound like there in labour(giving birth)
pokemon: its pokemon
outlaw star:everyone has pointy chins lol

*strangles you* Lupin was drawn by the gawd of all anime....Miyazaki! He did the original Lupin movie and a few others.. *points to her avatar and Jaina banner* That was drawn by Miyazaki also.. >.> so he does draw his anime a little different.. :S but most of his anime's include a guy that is drawn like Lupin..Miyazaki is one of the most celebrated anime artists in Japan.. >.>

Naruto: it has a interesting story and is not like anime's like dbz were there is always an unbeatable alien and they always remember a technique they never used before lol in naruto it doesnt have that many bad guys, and when thay do they are never unbeatable.

roruni keshin: its about samerais but its not like "o yea im the strongest and im gonna kill u all" kinda samurai's. the main character has a no kill policy wich i admire

Inuyasha: ive always liked the main chracter, hes so cool, but the first episode is kinda strange :D

i wasnt saying his drawing was bad, just stating to prove my point, that not all anime that is good has that traditional anime look to it

All anime that old look funny compared to modern anime. Just look at Speed Racer or the original Gundam. :P

My favourites:

1. FLCL- Duh. Because it's crazy as hell.
2. Macross Plus- Because I'm an aviation enthusiast.
3. Robotech/Macross (original)- See above
4. Gundam 08th MS Team- I dunno.. this one just called to me more than the other Gundams

I probably have more... but I just can't think of them right now.

Well, old anime was more a product of having to be done on the cheap then style. Later on, once the budgets went up (though still not nearly as high as your average Disney or WB production), they improved, but since the limited animation became a signature, it was adapted as a style.

Yeah also why anime from back when looks so copy since they used such a small amount of frames

Same with manga really. It was cheaper to do black and white, though now they stick to it because it became a signature style.

Though yes, anime was made because they liked American animation and wanted to do their own, but didn't have the same amount of money - thus why lots of times movement is displayed more in hair or other things rather then the actual dynamic body. Of course, now that's not totally true, but you still see the "limited" frames in stuff like Pokemon and even Gundam, though they've gotten better with jaw movements and whatnot.

You know..I would love to see a full animated manga again..I love how Full Metal Panic at least includes a colored picture or some sort in the beginning. I know that the full colors usually sell for hella expensive..since like often they make an Anime/manga..you know a manga that is based off the anime

Vision of Escalowne - Well, it was the first anime that I actually watched the complete series for, and the only one that I actually get excited over. Ahem. Heck, even spent money to buy the series, seeing as how it isn't shown over here anymore.

Gundam Wing - DJ puts this perfectly, but I have to add that I also like the main characters as well.

I started watching Witch Hunter Robin, since they just started showing that over here, and so far it has seemed okay. Not quite a favourite yet, but I like the drawings and such.

I've also seen the Cowboy Bebop movie, and that was enjoyable, but unfortunately the series isn't shown on TV and isn't in the stores for rent, so... I'm kinda out of luck there. Oh well.

Trigun and Evangelion are two of my favorites. There's always Akira, but that's almost a given. I like Armitage III, too, but that's a bit more down on the list. I haven't seen FLCL yet, I've gotta find somewhere near here that I can get it from.....

I would have to say my fav. anime is Inuyasha. I love it because of I mean hello who can resist the puppy dog eyes of Inuyasha's. lol! Also because every episode is something new and different.

I'm going to make an absolutely true statement right here and now:

If FLCL isn't at least in your top 5 favorite anime, then you haven't seen it. Either that, or you have absolutely no taste.

That was not a flame. That was completely true. COMPLETELY.
