Glad you agree with me. I think that those that take the boys name to be Link because its a name used in the demo, should also take the name of the horse to be Epona because it is used in the same demo. Hence, those people that say the horses name isn't Epona should in theory not make any assumption on the boys name being Link.So you think this isn't just that they just gave the horse a name everyone would recognize and that it'll have a different name officially? That makes sense. Her name probably is Epona.
I myself take the boys name to be Link and hence, I accept that the horses name is Epona. Notice that the horse in the latest trailers looks a lot more like Epona than the one we saw before. I think this was done to hide the surprise.

Zelda is in the game. She is the mysterious robed figure seen in the trailer and featured on the cover of the most recent EGM issue. Nintendo would not say how important she is to the story. However, the robe she wears is in fact a funeral robe, the developer says, and she's wearing it because she feels helpless; probably because Hyrule is slowing being poisoned by the Twilight and she can't stop it.
Nintendo says there will be more dungeons and temple themes in Twilight Princess than in Ocarina of Time. Similarly, Link will gain more weapons than in Ocarina of Time, many of them unique to the series. The idea, according to the development team, is to make Twilight Princess the best Zelda game ever created.

Whooooooo...
All wishful thinking...
So yeah, I'd love to see a bunch of old dungeons and bosses. Obviously not remaking the same dungeon (unless they have a RETRO TEMPLE with all old stuff that looks exactly the same... wow...no...).

I'd rather they didn't just have the same temple as from other games - maybe a few, but do we really need to have all of them? It might seem a little 'been there, done that.'

I wonder if that plant boss is really Manhandla (Manhandla is a plant, which I was unaware of until last year)... and if that spider is Gohma... I want to see a Dodongo now... and Gleeock... Digdogger... Holy crap, a 3D Digdogger where you use the Grass Whistle to play that song.... WHA!!!

For what its worth, here's how the boss fight goes...
You enter the room, and there's just the "two" big deku looking plants on each side. You gale boomerang some "exploding bomb like things" and send them into the plant's mouths... After you do that to BOTH plants, the BIG one in the center emerges and the two small ones on the sides come back up.
Eventually, a monkey appears, and he is holding bomb plant like things. Well, he swings back and forth on a vine and you have to target him and boomerang him to steal the bomb from him. You can then either try to throw the bomb into one of the plants mouth's (or even better target the plant AFTER targeting the monkey and the bomb goes straight into the plant's mouth).
Like WW, you can target multiple targets with the boomerang before firing.
Once you bomb both little plants again, the BIG plant falls down and of course you then either slice it with your sword or boomerang it while its next to you. Repeat process and then it dies. It turns into a dirt dried out color and dies...
I played this demo, and the boomerang controlls were kinda difficult...

Was everything else intuitive? Like the Horse(if you played that part aswell)? Do you think this game has the chance to be the best Zelda ever(atleast control wise if you can't answer for the whole game)? Also, I have one other question. Is there a move in this game where Link can stun an enemy by hitting them with his shield? I thought I saw this in the video.

The boomerang didn't look too difficult. That kinda saddens me. Guess I'll find out when I play against the boss 4 times at EB and wow people with my awesomeness because I watched it played through on my computer.
EDIT: Can you hit people with the Lantern? I swore that you could, unless that is the Shield thing FDL is talking about.

I don't think its a matter of a simple "highlight the enemy" anymore, I think you have to like press L while still holding down the boomerang button or something dumb...
But hey, I could have been doing it wrong, we basically had like 5 mins to try it out so there wasn't much time to experiment, it was do or die...
I didn't play any of the horse parts but they looked great...
This game will rival Ocarina of Time, some people will probably consider it the best zelda ever. Due to personal experiences, Ocarina of Time cannot be topped (for me). I.E. I might give OOT a 9.9 and TP a 9.8

That aside, I think you DO have to press L to "lock" on. I forgot what I read but it was something like that. I think it helped prevent unwanted locking on, which I did a lot of in TWW and had to let the boomerang go and start over messing up my plans.

What is the deal with Bomb Arrows though? People keep showing how it looks like a rocket shooting out of the bow and how it explodes, whereas the ones the enemies shoot don't.
Unless there are Enemy Fire Arrows and Link Fire Arrows that explode.

He sort of does something like that in TWW, I think. I can't remember... or was that something else...
God, I feel stupid right now.

Do Adults become Stalfos?
Do children become Stalchild(s/ren)?
Do Kokiri become Skull Kids?

Yeah, it could be a parry, but not a TWW style one. The TWW ones were the ones where Link rolled behind someone while this looks like he guards and then pushes forward and kills or stuns the enemy.
Actually, in one of his rare parries(IIRC, it only happened agains floormasters) Link jumped towards the enemy and slashed them. So, not all parries involved Link getting behind the enemy.
