The following are statements from Nintendo and/or discovered from watching trailers and/or the playable demos at E3 and/or advanced copies of magazines and/or recent interviews. [some of these facts are new thanks to me and have never been mentioned before ^_^]

*Zelda is the twilight princess and she is the chick in the robes in the tower.
*The Tower Princess Zelda is in is indeed Hyrule Castle.
*Link turns into a wolf when in the Twilight Realm and returns to normal when he leaves the Twilight Realm.
*Midna almost magically appears when Link re-enters the Twlight Realm on his back and almost magically disapears when Link leaves the Twilight Realm.
*Ganon is in the game and Link will fight him.
*US Release Date is November 2005.
*Link's Horse's name is Epona.
*The Giant Plant Boss is the boss of the Forest Temple. The Forest Temple is also the Temple with all the monkies, and the doors in the temple have the Deku Shield Symbol on them.
*The Twilight Realm is not the Dark World.
*This is supposed to be a new Link and takes place a few decades after OOT (I don't buy this one though)

Confirmed Temple Name(s)
*Forest Temple
Confirmed Item Name(s)
*Red Potion
*Laturn Oil
*Laturn
*Gale Boomerang

Neat Facts:
*Link's equivalent of Z + (either A or B) to do his jump and slash from OOT now performs his jump and stab down enemy finishing move.
*Link can go to a plant, press A, pluck a leaf, make a reed-whistle, and call his hawk friend which he can aim to attack a target.
*Someone refers to bees as "Buzzers" (do almost all animals in the zelda universe have the name of the sound they make?)
*Skull Kid is in the game. You know those weird 4 almost puppet like enemies you fight seen in the E3 2005 trailer? Skull Kid appears, blows some sort of trumpet, and they are summoned. Upon defeating them a plantlike blockage is removed and Link can move onward.
*The Twilight Realm manages to get pushed back by the light (almost certainly by Link's efforts somehow).

{keep em comin folks}

Yeah, you can name your horse(although if it isn't given another official name the way Link is given one, I'll probably name the horse Epona). BTW, how did you find out that Skull Kid summons those zombie doll things?

You choose the Name for the horse...

Skull Kid is not in the game AFAWK

The release is set to US Holiday Season 2005 not specifically Nov

The names can change, so they are not confirmed...

When Link calls for the Horse, he uses a reed whistle and plays Epona's Song from OoT

I don't think anyone else has seen any evidence to suggest that Skull Kid is in the game, so it's probably not something that should be posted in a thread that is about bringing together all the 'facts' about the game - we should probably deal with the information that has been publiclly released.

Off topic: Does anyone remember that the reed whistle was originally going to be in OoT? Nintendo never let an idea die, it seems - on a similar note, I remember talk about the arrows in TP being fired further depending on how long you hold down the button for, which was the set up in early tWW beta's.

But he DID say he's seen some advanced copies of magazines. I'm mainly defending him because I want to see SkullKid come back but whatever.

I was at E3! They had extended trailers! And I friggen saw Skull Kid appear, play a trumpet, and those puppet things appeared!

Also Nintendo was refering to Link's horse as Epona at E3...

He did not have Majora's Mask, so, he might just be a generic skull kid.

But he was DEFINATELY a skull kid.

Think how Skull Kid from MM looked after he no longer had Majora's Mask right before the credits and when he "sniffs Link", and then update those graphics by about a factor of 2 or 3, that's what I saw ^^

The Nintendo Booth Babe said "November"

I thought you guys knew me enough to trust me, I would never post Zelda info unless I knew it was a solid fact, I thought you'd believe me without having to play my "I was at E3" card -_-

I thought it went like this...

Skull Kids are lost non-Kokiri who got lost in the lost woods...

Kokiri are protected and can enter the Lost Woods and never transform...

yeah, crap your right, but still, I think that they ment skull kid, because if you Z-target a skull kid navi says *Is THAT what happens when you get lost in these woods* (or close to that, I don't have *exact* quotes, meh) Navi is useful, omfg!!!
EDIT: as for non kokiri people and such, I think it could be either......

Are you absolutely positive that Ganon is in the game? The way Aonuma was talking, I got the impression that he was just connected to the events of the game.

Man, I hope Ganon's not in there.

I wasn't saying that you were lying, but it seems to me that it is going to confuse the issue if people start posting things as 'facts' when they are very hard for anyone else to verify. IT's not a matter of trusting or not trsuting you, but a matter of other people taking the information and running with it in ways that are completely unsupported, like we've already had with the comments about Kokiri.

I also wasn't saying that you shouldn't post information like that, just that posting it as a fact in thread about all the facts about the game doesn't seem right when it is hardly the most confirmed of things in the new game.

Dunno, it'd be nice if they'd upload em soon...

Anyway, here's a pic of skullkid I snagged from the trailer with my camera...
http://forums.legend...read.php?t=4806

The extended trailers were like what we've seen before but with more footage and continutity...

For example, Link's transformation into a wolf was longer, and immediately after he transforms it looked like he already had a chain on his foot (could be wrong) and THEN it cuts the the moon howl.

Also, you know that weird portal that opens in the sky and the 3 enemies fall out? In the extended ver, Link and Midna are walking along, then the camera goes up, portal opens, and then they fight those things. (You know that footage where Link fights those 3 enemies as a wolf, they are the same badguys that fell from the sky).

Skull Kid
Is this what happens to kids who
wander into the forest? It looks
like he doesn't like grownups.

So children turn into Skull Kids, adults turn into Stalfos and Kokiri (+ Link) are protected, I think.

Thanks, so maybe there will not be kokiri in the game. What a bumer. But if it's inbetween WW and OoT then they should have them, or else I will be a not-so-happy fan.

The horse has no name.

In that case, neither does the boy. If the horse isn't called Epona, then why should we refer to the boy as Link? Perhaps this boy is only called Link to go with OoT, just like the horse is called Epona to go with OoT. I know what I'm saying sounds stupid, but it doesn't make a whole load of sence to assume they give the correct name for the boy in the trailers, but not for the horse...

I beleive i heard somewhere that they were just _refering_ to the horse as epona, and it's a definate that you can name the horse. They even said that most people will name it epona anyway, just like I will. But I see what you mean though.

Yeah, it's proper name is probably Epona(and I'm gonna call her that) but you CAN name the horse.
