Mild-mannered illegal immigrant Fernando Llamas was going about an average day when he suddenly passed the local Sombrero Hut, and noticed that there was a new sombrero in stock. After stealing the hat and succesfully evading the shop's owner, Fernando ducked into an alley. However, in his sharp turn he tripped, and fell head-first into a bucket of nuclear waste. His hair was turned green by the waste; the shop owner would surely recognize him now! To cover up the green spot that would surely give him away, he donned the sombrero. However, little did he know that it was the fabled Golden Sombrero, and by coming into contact with the nuclear material, the sombrero's ancient powers were reactivated and bestowed upon Fernando, and he became...SOMBRERO MAN!
