You don't ERASE people from a timeline. He was sealed in the FUTURE, which becomes a SEPERATE timeline. Thusly, none of that effects the PAST, in an ALTERNATE timeline. If he does dissapear, it's because he gets sealed when Link returns the Master Sword. However, the things he's already done-the murder of the Deku Tree, the attack on the Gorons and the Jabu Jabu fish etc. can't be undone, THUSLY, he has to exist in the past timeline in order to do it. Plus you're going to have to explain how his dissapearance effected the past, and soon we have THREE timelines -.O

Not if we consider the adult timeline as starting from the time that Link met Zelda the first time. Perhaps it was a timeline, if you will, in and of itself. If she sent him back to the point just before he met her, there had to be a good reason for it.

However, if we're to take the physics of time travel literally, yes Ganon would still be back there creating chaos while Link is off playing around in Termina.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go bash my head against a wall because I can't think straight.. :lmao:

I do believe I have totally lost my place in these forums during my Spring Break hiatus. I have no fuggin' clue what's going on anymore! Anyways, in repsonse to Thnikaman I'll explain what I was getting at. You said it didn't matter if a timeline had split in Hyrule because that only happened in the Hyrulean universe. Even with Hyrule's timeline split in two, the Termian flow of time is linear as far as we can tell.... with the exception of the three-day loop later fixed by Link. After the events of MM, Link becomes a local hero and his adventures are chronicled in a collection of notes written by none other by Tinglwe himself. Tingle in turn finds a portal to Hyrule in the ADULT timeline, thinking he found fairy world or something. His notes are compiled and stored in the Tower of the Gods along with everything else associated with the Hero of Time. Tingle also becomes somewhat a legend himself, starting some sort of fairy cult on the Great Sea after the flood that carried on up till TWW occured where you see few individuals emulating the original Tingle. And thus this explains how the MM references can occur in TWW even with a Timeline Split. Because, simply, the split only occured in Hyrule. Not Termina.

Not exactly. Ganondorf could of went to the Sacred Realm to try and claim the Triforce, Link returns and puts the Master Sword down and unwittingly screws Ganondorf over. He touches the Triforce and causes it to split, but he can do nothing with it.
