Those statues look nothing like gorons at all. They have enormous noses for one thing, and spikes around the edges of their heads.

there's some Goron statues that you need to push to get into it, complete with Goron symbol on them, I believe. I don't have my GameCube at the moment, so I can't check, but I'm pretty sure they are there.

I thought they had the Goron symol, but they appear to not (according to whoever said they don't). And the pointy things on there heads look Goron like, if I remember correctly - they resemble the way Durania's and Darmia (guy from MM) look. Don't remeber the noses, but don't they have the big Goron lips as well? And I ment that they were statues that resembled Gorons/Goron architecture (ie the way Gorons represent themselves on that big vase, etc)

There is no evidence of gorons on Dragon Roost Island, I checked and there isn't any. To me, that means that that it never was Death Mountain. If it was supposed to be, the creators of the game would probably put some evidence of goron life there.

Yes, Zythe, it appears as if all the islands we see in WW are floating "magically", or go very little into the water (which we don't SEE, but is rather obvious).

Still working on that idea of mine...keep getting sidetracked.
