Gawd..I miss that show..^^ It is one of those animes I need to get on DVD one day >.> at least Season 1 or 2 it is really the show that got me watching anime AT ALL. It was after Digimon that I started watching the very short run Esaflowne.

Hm. Well, they were good kids. Especially Henry, Takato, Tommy, and J.P.
And Jeri...anyone remember THAT nightmarish atrocity? o_O
Jeri... an atrocity?
I don't follow. Please explain more.
And Jaina... Digimon is currently on ABC family from 7:00 to 8:00 on weekday mornings, however, they're currently showing Tamers, and the first episode seems to be a rerun of the second episode of the previous day.

By atrocity I mean that I was so freaked out when we see Jeri as the zombie she becomes for the next twelve episodes or so I threw my Milk Duds box waaay up in the air.
This:

Became....THIS!!! Dun dun!

Really quickly, too. Takato kinda ran up next to Jeri, who was hiding behind a rock from something, and she's so messed up from the horror she's recently experienced that she-I dunno, gets creepy. I just was a little messed up. After that, the whole series takes a turn for the darker.

That isn't Jeri. That was the D-Reaper clone thing. Besides, she was depressed because her partner got killed... in the digimon timeline where dead digimon stay dead.

Well, Custommagnum, you're very perceptive, b/c I thought it was an extremely emotionally distraught Jeri. Then when she was on the train, reading the ingredients on the lunch box, I figured out she'd been possessed....am I too slow?

Anyway, We'll know this in around a month when ABC family gets back to the whole D-Reaper arc.

Oh yes, that's another thing about Season 4...they had a cool theme song. There is something snazzy about the old one, but I really liked Season 4's....
Oh, Jaina, I'm not insulting DJ! I just said he was volatile, that's not always a bad thing, I'm TERRIBLY impulsive myself. But yeah, just cause he has a reason doesn't mean he's not a little snippy. Nothin wrong with it, just stating the facts......thank the lord he's not a n00b!

Zythe, I'm only getting the audio, and while I do like the theme song, what's on the video that's so funny?
It's a .wav, so it's just audio. I just found the theme tune funny, because I remembered how lame I was watching it when I was 10 or 11.

I mean, I consider myself decently mature, compared to all the sad preppy/hos on the market, everyone says so. But I'm still a funloving person, and I find nothing wrong with watching a show like that for kicks once in a while, do you? It's better than gorging yourself on South Park crap, IMHO...
And like I mentioned earlier, and started this thread for, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by it in its third season. Whereas normally I would be laughing at the dumb puns, OMRs, or sheer cheesiness, I was actually pretty perturbed in that season, I remember throwing my popcorn bowl thirthy feet in the air when we first see the possessed Jeri, that's about as far as it went. Zythe, so long as you're not addicted to it/think it's real or REALLY important, there is nothing wrong with watching kids' shows at all. Sometimes that's better than reality TV or crass cartoons that are so popular nowadays, and rarely, you might surprise yourself.
Oh yes, but all modern Disney toons suck out the wazoo. The Proud Family has to be my least favorite cartoon of all time.

I stopped watching halfway through season three. I mean, why should I care about these kids that have nothing to do with the previous seasons? Just kind of random. And who's stupid idea was it to make the kids digi-volve? That was just.. dumb.
Anyways, I voted for season 1. It was the best. Especially that orange monkey that liked to sing that MetalGreymon beat up.

Season 2 was fairly interesting when they introduced new digivolution methods. I liked how Davis would be the only one actually trusting Ken after the period when he was his mortal enemy. The ending was nice, but not as good as Season 1's ending in my opinion.
Season 3... Well, I haven't caught all of season three, but I do know enough of it to make a proper analysis. It was an interesting premise, and was darker than the other seasons. I liked it, but not terribly much.
I haven't seen too much of season 4, only a few including the first. However, I liked the idea of the humans themselves digivolving. I liked how Takuya became a sort of big-brother figure for Tommy.
Though this is hypocritical of me to say, I hate it when people compare sequels to the originals. If you keep making comparisons, you never truely enjoy something.
