Got Falcon, Little Mac and Lucario sort of impulsively during the great restock. Nintendo did good. Currently I'm helping a friend out with the animal crossing cards which is more or less me playing with his money to get them all. It's been a lot of fun.

This restock is absurd! I saw an overflow amiibo display at Best Buy. Little Mac, Falcon, Shulk. Marth... It's crazy-go-nuts.

I kinda dig the giant restock completely screwing over all the people who bought Amiibo for profit. I'm cool with people who want a complete collection because they genuinely want them, it's the "Buy it and sit on it and PROFIT!" who snatch it from little kids and other people who will actually enjoy it, then sneer about it that I have no sympathy for here. I kinda find amusement in how a few of them insist their copies are still worth a lot because the reprints have sliiiiiiightly different packaging.

I thought I was done with amiibo, but then I ended up getting the 8-Bit Classic Mario. I didn't like the regular issue Marios, but the pixel one...as a child of the 80's, that was MY Mario growing up.
If they do an 8-Bit Link, I'll probably cave again.

Went to the local EB Games to grab some eShop money and noticed they had the Retromiibo 3-Pack on shelves. Asked if it was because they weren't selling well, but they were selling quite handily and they just had a lot of them. I picked a good day to drop by apparently.
I need to find a place to put all of these things. At the moment they're cluttering my computer desk for lack of any better options.

I put Mario on my Christmas because I determined that it was just dumb to collect Amiibo and NOT have Mario. I liked the Mario Party design much better than the Smash design. I feel like a lot of the Smash trophies just weren't designed with a physical figurine in mind. The MP mold is much more iconic.

I keep saying I'm done with Amiibo, but I saw Shovel Knight at Target and had to grab hm. Like the game a lot and he's never going to get another figure, so why not.
I'm starting to seriously consider getting that display piece to put the few I have on - it's 20 bucks at Best Buy, and with the Gamer Zone Unlocked discount it's down to 16 bucks so......

So far I've only got some of the Fire Emblem amiibo (Marth, Ike, Lucina), then some random ones like Zelda and female Inkling...and then a few random ones a friend of mine shares with me so I don't really count. I usually end up spending more on Figma. Too many amiibo for me to keep up with or afford xD
...ahh imagine if they made the full on Pokemon collection 700+ amiibo...
