Here's how you fantasy football:
For our league, you will be picked a team of players automatically (you can set up some stipulations if you'd like), and your roster will look like this:

There are 17 roster spots. 10 are guys who are "playing" and will score you points. 7 are "bench" spots for guys you want to keep around, but who won't be scoring you points. Our league will let you play 1 QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, one W/R/T (free choice of WR, RB, or TE), 1 Kicker, and 1 team defense.
See that box up there that says Projected Stats? Yahoo automatically calculates how many points it
thinks each guy will score (this is shown on the far right). This will help you decide who you want to play. You can also display the points they scored last year, the points they have scored this year so far, etc.
See that yellow note? Clicking this will bring up news about the player, including injuries and any insight into things that might affect how much they'll be scoring in the upcoming week. This will also help you decide who you want to play.
That is basically how you play fantasy football.
You'll be matched up against another team, and you want your guys to score more points than their guys do.

As you can see, it's projected that I'm gonna beat up my Dad's stupid team because he believes in the Indianapolis Colts. Silly dad.
Any specifics, I can help you out with as well.
