Yeah i had no clue what other move to use. I think with some EV training and my pokemon ill use from SoulSilver i wont be as bad and might be able to beat more than one Pokemon. I was so sad when my Lucario didnt hit first :(

I for whatever reason thought GMT would be an hour behind me, and not 5 hours ahead. I will add your FC and be in the lobby while dinner is cooking though, if you don't mind a divided attention fight.

CURSE YOU UNRELIABLE HIT RATE ON STONE EEEEDGE!

Good match, Showinsi, I guess there's no avoiding it: I'm gonna have to EV train and scarf my 'Cross.

Good game, though you've got to feel sorry for Latias. And in hindsight, not switching her earlier would have been better, but I was totally expecting a Crunch. (Still, there's always the Pursuit chance... So, probably would have been better to stay in either way.)

Hello everyone i was told by my friend synile that you guys were incredibly tough pokemon trainers. It's also pleasure to be here in your forums i have heard great things about everyone. Well i am a very competitive person and wish to challenge the current gym leaders within the next week or two have to finish a little bit more breeding to get my desire pokemon. Just recently got into pokemon thanks to synile and couldn't believe the depth of the game. I look forward to the restrictions to the match as well.

Fire beats Ice beats Dragon? I guess you can't really base it on type matchup.

Not at all. In terms of our Gym Leader status we're only as good or as bad as our type speciality dictates.

I have less raw power and more tricksy strategies to overcome my less-than desirable type.

I can rank them roughly.

I beat Vet barely. I took half of Showinsi's team and Gobby's team massacred me.

However, they really do have a nifty Rock-Paper-Scissors typing there with Fire -> Ice -> Dragon -> Fire.

It's times like this that make me wish that the Wi-Fi at both home and school worked with my DS.

If your wifi at home doesn't work it probably means it's WPA and not WEP. You could switch it over and then back again whenever you want to get online with pokemon.

damn it, i HAVE to get in on this action, but I fear that I must finish Miles Edgeworth, Ace Attorney first. I'm nearly done, but once I am, I will be in full pokemon swing. Get ready, you guys. I'm coming back strong, and I still have two badges to get, from Vet and now Showsni!

I spent until 1am this morning finishing Miles Edgeworth, Ace Attorney... What case are you on? I think it's slightly easier than some of the Ace Attornies; I was never in any danger of losing. Or maybe it's just more logical.

Any more challengers for my dragons? Cookie for anyone who can say the reason behind my team's nicknames! (Latias' nickname is meant to be Ruth, but it was traded to me from someone else.)

I'm just finishing up the 5th case now... I'm on "End, part 2." So i suspect I'm close to the end. The statues threw me for a loop as well.

I'd agree that it's probably the easiest game and for that exact reason - it's far more logical. Also, an incorrect answer only subtracts a very small portion of your logic meter, unlike in other games where a single incorrect answer could mean all-or-nothing. Still, it's been a great game.

I'll challenge you tomorrow, probably. This case is just about wrapped up.

So, when you go online, it automatically levels your party up. It raises the stats for you too, yes?

Yes, they'll rise to what they would be at that level, based on the EVs you've given it. (And the base stats and the IVs).

stats on pokemon are very vital and IV's and ev's are the ultimate way to get the best pokemon my question is. What pokemon game would be the best place to farm ditto to get the desired Iv's i need i tried leaf green but i seem to get better luck in platinum's trophy garden more frequent ditto's appear and i have only seen a single ditto in leafgreen. Or am i going about this the wrong way?

As of now, Heart Gold and Soul Silver are the best games to find Ditto. They appear on Route 47 with a 41% appearance rate as well as able to Swarm here.

The Platinum Trophy Garden is 5%, Diamond/Pearl pokeradar is 22%.

FireRed/LeafGreen, despite having some good Ditto spots, are difficult because you can't Synchronize natures onto them since that was only introduced in Emerald onwards.

The easiest way is to abuse the random number generator to get a good Ditto. (Or trade with somebody who has!) If you have Platinum, there's a flawless modest spread and a flawless timid spread for Dittos in the Trophy Garden, depending on whether you released it "today" or "yesterday". (You might have to try twice if you haven't kept track; I ended up catching a flawless modest Eevee first, by mistake...)

To do that, you need the programme "RNGReporter," a watch with second hand (the computer will do), a Pokémon with Sweet Scent, possibly a timid/modest Pokemon with Synchronise, the journal (with a message about capturing or defeating a wild Pokémon), a way of catching the Pokémon (remembering that Ditto will transform into whatever you send out and then have 5PP in its moves), Ditto in the trophy garden, the coin flip app. and possibly some Repels...
