ABC is an Australian, government-funded media station, including magazine, radio, television. These guys have their own news broadcast as well as run Triple J, my favourite radio station of all time if I haven't mentioned it enough already. Now, a while ago, UK-based, Australian-born, drum&bass sensation, Pendulum, were in the J studios and one of the members had actually created himself a ringtone for his phone by remixing the theme for ABC News (pretty much a nationally-recognised tune, as everyone at some point in their life has heard the opening to that particular news program). The presenter at the time insisted on receiving a copy of this remix, so Pendulum provided and now it's being played over the waves. And it is AWESOME. XD

I wish so much they would make a new opening for the news using this track.

I met this girl at a show in Miami last year. She opened for us with some of her friends. She's one of the coolest people I've met on the road. This is one of her songs off the album that came out last year, called Tinker Toys. This isn't the studio cut, clearly, but I love everything about this video.

New Birds of Tokyo single. YAY.

Sounds fairly different to all their other releases. Voice is the same, good Kenny sound, though.

I also came across this beauty from the original Mortal Kombat film soundtrack.

Loving the new Arcade Fire stuff! I didn't think they would ever be able to match Neon Bible but I think i've been proved wrong.

Another ace tune:

For those of you in the now, Jeff Wayne did a musical version of War of the Worlds. Well, one of Britain's greatest comedy musicians tried to do something similar... except he had time restraints.

So his is based on that epic book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Unfortunately, I can't embed to a decent version, so I have to point you out to his website. It's at the bottom of the page.

Featuring one of the artists from Vampire Weekend.

Okay, so I got rid of that stupid Die Antwoord song for something better.

This one comes with a Triple J Language Warning. It may contain words such as "f**k", "s**t", "c**k", "balls", "staffordshire terrier"...

Thanks to Spotify, I'm coming across some great new artists. I've just discovered Rage and their Lovecraftian album, Soundchaser. I'm not sure how to link to their album on Spotify, so instead, I've found one of their songs on Youtube.

(Yes, they are German).

EDIT: I've just figured out how to link to their album on Spotify... or rather, to a playlist I created for their album.

Got this album a while ago but the Birds of Tokyo album kind of overshadowed it for a bit there.
