My Mum got salmonella poisoning from a school dinner once. She says it's not very nice.

I've had scarlet fever, and pneumonia, and chicken pox; but never measles, mumps or rubella.

Seriously? Wow that sucks. I had the pox as a kid but that is pretty much it for exotic diseases.

My diseases, or my Mum's? I got an X-Ray from the pneumonia showing my lungs all blocked up, I wonder what happened to it... That was just a few years ago. I was kind of too young to remember the scarlet fever in depth. Though, I can remember the only time I've had general anaesthetic... For a circumcision. Some medical reason why I needed one. I got to borrow the class toy hamster (Hammy) and take him to the hospital with me. (They made a mess of my hands trying to get the needle in; good job I'd had that numbing cream they give you.)

I've had chickenpox, strep throat, infant pneumonia, scabies (yes, I know it's considered an STD, I think I picked it up from another kid when I shared a seat with them at an amusement park), and mononucleosis. Weeeee.
