The only two unsold properties are Bag End and Brego, so without some wheeling and dealing it looks a lot like Ransom would end up the only person with a set. So, everyone, offer away! Also, 350 each for Westfold and Fangorn Forest. And due to my money situation and the fact that I'd normally go much higher, I'll cut my usual deal. Immunity from one (1) payment on any property of that color (yellow, in this case) whenever you choose. If this kind of deal making isn't exactly the sort of 'deals' you're familriar with, and you feel that they go against the rules or something, then by all means stop me now.

Just remember that this could be a potential 1300 + dollars.

*Or 150, but then it's not an "even 350" for the other properties. This could be tricky...

Since if a player "forgets" to ask for rent until the next player's go you don;t have to pay, it's possible to grant someone exemption from a payment within the rules; but nothing within the rules would prevent you from turning on them and demanding it anyway, if you felt like it. Caveat Emptor.

I won't have money to burn if I'm successful procuring the red set. And since you'll have to start mortgaging if you're unlucky with your next roll, you sitting on a meagre 19, I'm only willing to go up to 320.

Well, anyway, Ransom...hmmm...I dunno. I mean, it -is- my best property, and while no one else seems to be budging with the yellows, this could end up at some sort of stalemate... For now my answer will be a nebulous "undecided", but that's only because I want to see how things unfold, not because I wont trade. I have a feeling I wont end up with yellow anyway...but we'll see.

Jaina, I'm afraid I just can't accept no for an answer. How's 650 sounding to you for the Pink? Forgetting the yellow trading for a moment, you'd still have 2 properties, and you will, of course, be 650 dollars richer. Enough to make a trade to, say, get another property back (so that you wont have, as you put it, "like one property" left.)

For now I'll work one color at a time. After the Pinks (or a failure to acquire the pinks ) I will negociate Red. then the confusing three-way yellow dispute can be settled. Obviously I wont hog all of the monopolies, so lets try and work this out so that everyone ends with two monopolies. Hows that sound?

Showsni, 700 for Helm's Deep if Jaina says no to my offer. If she says yes, then how does free parking on 2 Red payments sound (redeemable at any time)?
