I've never dissected anything. >_>

[Edit] To clarify, we had dissections, but I never took part in them.

None of my classes ever did dissections.... Though when I was in anatomy we went to ohsu and had a student doctor show us his practice cadaver. It looked like turkey..... And he was all oh pull back this skin flap and look the liver! Open the rib cage and let's pull out these to show you! One girl had to leave the room....

You're lucky. In 7th grade we had to dissect a cow heart (I got out of it because I missed an assignment), in 8th grade we had to dissect a fish. I remember in high school biology we dissected an onion, LOL.

Oh yeah! The surfer teacher guy in 7th grade! My dad gave him an elk heart the he cut up for the class. But we didn't actually do it, he was the one cutting it up

The only things we ever dissected were plants... Your schools are all horrible.

Why did you dissect plants? You only have apical meristems and lateral meristems and... Roots and not much else... :S

Finished dissecting the pig today; cut out the heart and broke the jaw open to look inside.





It was disgusting.

My friends thought I was high or something for wanting to take pictures. Plus, we were really scared when the teacher started walking around saying not to physically take out any of the organs. So we put the heart back. Upside down, maybe.






If I didn't mention this before, we called it Bertha.


Also, what do you guys think this is? There's been different opinions between me, JR, and some of my friends on my taste in food.

I used to eat them with my hands, but nowadays I like to multitask and not get my books or laptop dirty while eating.
