As a photography major I have [img]http://forums.legendsalliance.com/public/ALOT.png[/img] to say about these photos. I've been trying not to say anything but i can't seem to help myself when i look at photos.
First off i have to say the poses love. Second i have to say that what ever you where using as a light source not set correctly its causing way to many hot spots which distracts the focus away from you and onto the shiny background the the guitar.
Yup this is what i have to say about these.

I've never delved into photography but I've done my fair share of art/aesthetics-based studies and I gotta say, I like the hotspots and the imbalance of the lighting, especially in the first one. I do agree that the background could be darker, much darker. For the rest, though, I like how it does accent elements of the picture that should traditionally be background material. I do at least know that over-exposure is a desired style for some with both photography and video and I myself thinks it works well on her in these two. The first highlights her face and the guitar on the same level, making them both equally important and almost otherworldly at the same time, whilst the second image does it with the guitar only, putting her in the background but only slightly, as she still draws attention, holding a musical Excalibur. I mean, it comes down to individual tastes in the end but there's always the chance that the photographer was intentionally going for the over-exposed, ethereal, unnaturally-bright look.

It's kind of like looking at the sun - it's far too bright, far too strong and unbalanced, but there is still an attraction there.

Lazurukeel i do agree with you on the fact that it may have been the artists choose but i still feel as if the guitar needs to be toned down just a tad bit. It is way to over exposed for the rest of the photo. The background i feel would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that it is not evenly lit. I dont think it needs to be much darker at all just not so uneven in its lighting.

So I let my bangs grow out over the summer because 1, I was lazy, and 2, it was hot and I didn't want any hair laying on my face. But now I've moved to an apartment with air conditioning (still trying to figure out a way to have sex with the air conditioner, as it needs to happen) and have realized that I can cut my bangs now. So I did, but with much trepidation, because all past cuttings have resulted in either bangs that were way too short because I had to keep trimming to fix mistakes, or uneven bangs because I was afraid to keep trimming. But I somehow managed to cut in a straight line with no difficulty this time.

See, as someone who didn't learn what on earth Americans meant by "bangs" until pretty recently, I always assumed they were like those weird sticky out bits of hair you see in anime and places. Why can't you just call it a fringe like everyone else if that's what you mean?
