Yes, the hair is real. And yes, it is awesome. As for how it has grown that long... I don't know. All I know is I have not cut my hair in at least three years. I usually keep it in a ponytail since it can be an annoyance, and break it out when requested to do so. This is usually followed by vocal observations of it being long.
