Get over yourself, IFR. People put their pics on here to have them looked at. They put their pics on here with an understanding that anyone can look at them, but with the hopes that these pics will help everyone will be able to put a name to a face.

So please don't say "nobody's looking at me", then scream "they're looking at her too much so they must be perverts". Regardless of what anyone says, they still see you for who you are, and that's what's important.

I think that everyone here looks attractive in their own ways, and we appreciate everyone whether they show what they look like or not because we're all part of one big community, or even a strange but amusing family.

excuse me? i'm not trying to be "full of myself" i think how they keep gawking at her is so...how do i put this nicely...I hate it when men base everything on looks. its great that theres a face to the name and stuff but say "o.k. shes hot now lets move on and see what kind of a person she is" not the oposit...I for one hope no one takes a good look at my pics...the look bad...I'm just sick of them gawking at her...or at least thats what it sounds like...I have a bad experience with boiys so sorry if this offends any of you but...all of them suck where I'm from so i guess I now see almost all boys a pervs...

Then it's time to take a different perspective of guys then. Am I a pervert? I sure hope not, seeing as all I've done was comment on her pictures and remind others (and myself) that I need to get pictures up of myself. If you had a bad experience with a few guys, sure, it's natural to dislike THEM but not the entire gender. I don't want to be discrimitated against purely because of my masculinity.

I, for one, despise and detest the shallow view of "guys like looks and nothing else". I've always been a firm believer in personality and intelligence before looks, and I can easily say that if I were blind that my choice in "crushes", for lack of a better term, would still stand the same. Perhaps reasons like these, coupled with the fact that personality and brains rarely mix and my natural shyness is why my heterosexuality has been questioned in the past before...

IFR, there were people who said you were pretty, and you're entirely overlooking their comments. Please don't be so quick to assume what the intentions of the guys here are.

We would like to think that the community of LA is full of respectable people, and certainly there is very little chance of a single person here finding out who you are and where you live, so if they think you're attractive or not, it shouldn't hurt you physically.

So please just try to enjoy getting closer to everyone else here. This is not a thread to fight in, it's a thread for having fun and becoming closer to your fellow forum-goers.


And yeah..we're all webfreaks here. A lot of us had or still have trouble with relationships, but that's for the Life section. Believe me- more people can relate to you than you might know.

Yes, they would stay the same only because it is a psychological thing that has nothing to do with how you see them or what their personality is. If you tried, you could find lots of connections between every crush you have, so the whole I like people because of personality is a bunch of BS just like the looks thing.

Thats the first time I've heard someone say that. I believe I've said this before but I think this is a good time to repeat it. Looks can catch the eye, but personality captures the heart.

Watch it IFR. Chikara already warned you, but I'm doing it again. This is not the place to release such feelings. Its a thread where people post their pictures. Simple as that. If you have a problem with things like you described in general, there's the Life forum where you can vent.

And just so you know, everyone bases some things on looks. Even those who say they don't. That includes women too by the way. All men have a perverted side to them (even if they deny it), and all women have a perverted side to them (even if they deny it). The trick is to learn how to look past that and find something about the person you truly like that is not based on physical emotions. Some people are better than that than others. Some people are so insecure that they attack others for no reason.

Suffice to see, if you have a problem, leave out of this forum, especially this particular thread. You can post in the Life forum about it if you want. Just not in a thread that's meant to bring people together, not cause petty fights.

So true. I don't know how many times I've looked at someone and thought, my they look good. Then of course over time I find out they are stupid, bitches or too religious for their own good. Sorry about that but I can't stand super religious people.

Well...who you like is actually caused be chemical reactions in the braing produced by pheremones which make you physically attracted to people or in other words you have a crush on them. Then there is another chemical that I don't remember that causes you to actually fall in love.
