2) Thanks to SS for changing the Cowboy Bebop stuff into being in spoiler tags... but at the same time, the show's nine years old. It's about equivalent to saying "in the end of the Sixth Sense you find out Bruce Willis is dead". If you don't know by now in a community this surrounded by anime...well, someone's bound to say it without knowing there's a lifeform out there who hasn't found out in some way or another yet.
..anyway. XP
GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA!

Or even better...the voice actor performing as the life version, rawr.

Many of these series were not on Tv. Anime is virtually never on Tv here in England. They require people to download them or buy them. This is unlike The Sixth Sense, which was in cinemas for a limited time, is on Tv regularly and is easy and cheap to buy or rent. It's only recently that anime has got down to an acceptable price to buy, too.
Basically, spoilers are bad, and you shouldn't assume that just because a series is old, everyone here would have seen it. I think you'll find that many people here haven't seen Bebop. Especially if they think Naruto is a good anime. ¬.¬

On the bright side, he didn't actually say anything about what happens in the end.

Spoilers are bad. BAD. In all circumstances. If this had been a topic specifically about Bebop, however, I wouldn't have complained because I could have chosen to avoid possible spoilers. In this instance, it came from out of the blue, hence my slightly over the top annoyance.

As for Bebop, er... well, sorry, I have to side with hobbit on this one. It's been in circulation for a long while, is very well known and well loved, and is probably regarded as quintessential anime. Especially for recent years. Sorry that you were spoiled, but I'm actually quite surprised you hadn't heard of it already. I was rather late in seeing Bebop as well, and I was spoiled on the ending of Bebop ages ago before I had a chance to watch it (though spoilers never bother me much - I usually know how a story ends before I watch or read it). It's just... one of those big series, you know? I wouldn't say being spoiled on that is like being spoiled about Darth Vader being Luke's father, but it's still kind of a 'yeah, we know already' kind of thing. So yeah, sorry you haven't seen it yet and accidentally read something, but you can't exactly blame him too terribly much given the status of the show. 'Twas an accident.
Manly men. Manly men... hmm. All I know are young pilots and dudes from sci fi. Um...
Here, Leon from Bubblegum Crisis. He's a douche, but has many guns. And is probably the only non-bishie man in an anime otherwise filled with possibly-lemony girls who pretty much always kick more ass than he does. 2040 version as the original series is filled with bad 80's hair.

Hmm, the possibly-lemony gi-- we could use an anime babes thread. *ponder ponder*

1) Try to keep the pictures somewhat decently small, PLZTHX. I mean..most are okay, but that one on the first page that stretched the boundaries...

And yes I did post Gene. But the link fails somehow...I can see it. O.o
Xiahou Dun. The guy got shot in the eye with an arrow so he pulled it out and ate it so that it wouldn't go to waste. Supposedly true story. Yay for video games loosely based on history! XD
