No problem, but I've only seen the first five episodes, and other people here may not have seen it all yet either. Don't worry 'bout it.

I don't think some of you understand that in order to be manly, it needs to be a man. Not a boy. Angsty badass teenage boys aren't men. God people!

Vodkamaru hereby loses right to judge manliness and shall be laughed at for the rest of his days. Itachi is about as Bishi as you get in Naruto (though Sasuke is marginally worse). He's awesome, but not very manly. And Kaneda, as pointed out by Soap, is way too angsty. (actually I think the only real man in Akira was the general)

Younger Toguro from YYH. Both attitude and look, I suppose. This picture isn't the best, but I'm too lazy to take a screen shot.

1) Try to keep the pictures somewhat decently small, PLZTHX. I mean..most are okay, but that one on the first page that stretched the boundaries... @_@

2) Thanks to SS for changing the Cowboy Bebop stuff into being in spoiler tags... but at the same time, the show's nine years old. It's about equivalent to saying "in the end of the Sixth Sense you find out Bruce Willis is dead". If you don't know by now in a community this surrounded by anime...well, someone's bound to say it without knowing there's a lifeform out there who hasn't found out in some way or another yet.

..anyway. XP

There's a big difference between The Sixth Sense and anime. Namely, there's LOADS of anime, and it's not easy to get ahold of them outside of Japan, especially in Europe. I like anime, but I have not seen the whole of Bebop or Evangelion or some other major series that I simply haven't got around to watching yet.

Many of these series were not on Tv. Anime is virtually never on Tv here in England. They require people to download them or buy them. This is unlike The Sixth Sense, which was in cinemas for a limited time, is on Tv regularly and is easy and cheap to buy or rent. It's only recently that anime has got down to an acceptable price to buy, too.

Basically, spoilers are bad, and you shouldn't assume that just because a series is old, everyone here would have seen it. I think you'll find that many people here haven't seen Bebop. Especially if they think Naruto is a good anime. ¬.¬

The fact remains that Cowboy Bebop HAS played legally in England and it's been out for nearly ten years. You can get upset at seeing a spoiler, but the obscenities weren't really necessary. If they'd rather watch Naruto than CB, that's their own prerogative, and they'd likely care more about a death in that show than in CB to begin with. All the same, I understand that your available selection is...minimal, sadly.

On the bright side, he didn't actually say anything about what happens in the end. ;)

It may have played on some obscure channel but I still think you'll find a huge hoard of people who haven't seen it. And yes, I only saw a tiny bit of what he said, it's okay, I was just angry because it was the *next* anime I was going to watch. Bad timing more than anything led to my outburst.

Spoilers are bad. BAD. In all circumstances. If this had been a topic specifically about Bebop, however, I wouldn't have complained because I could have chosen to avoid possible spoilers. In this instance, it came from out of the blue, hence my slightly over the top annoyance.

I think Delphi used Gene, but her linking failed it. Oh well. XD

As for Bebop, er... well, sorry, I have to side with hobbit on this one. It's been in circulation for a long while, is very well known and well loved, and is probably regarded as quintessential anime. Especially for recent years. Sorry that you were spoiled, but I'm actually quite surprised you hadn't heard of it already. I was rather late in seeing Bebop as well, and I was spoiled on the ending of Bebop ages ago before I had a chance to watch it (though spoilers never bother me much - I usually know how a story ends before I watch or read it). It's just... one of those big series, you know? I wouldn't say being spoiled on that is like being spoiled about Darth Vader being Luke's father, but it's still kind of a 'yeah, we know already' kind of thing. So yeah, sorry you haven't seen it yet and accidentally read something, but you can't exactly blame him too terribly much given the status of the show. 'Twas an accident.

Manly men. Manly men... hmm. All I know are young pilots and dudes from sci fi. Um...

Here, Leon from Bubblegum Crisis. He's a douche, but has many guns. And is probably the only non-bishie man in an anime otherwise filled with possibly-lemony girls who pretty much always kick more ass than he does. 2040 version as the original series is filled with bad 80's hair.

Posted Image

Hmm, the possibly-lemony gi-- we could use an anime babes thread. *ponder ponder*

Anime is like manga, but moving, so I guess we can use manga, right? And manga is basically just foreign comic books. So comics are okay. So, in all his comic glory:
