Rules: NO BISHIS! Submissions must be epitomes of masculinity. If you post a bishi and say it is a manly guy, you will be laughed at forever. A character may be used only once in the thread.

To start:Gutts from Berserk. You don\'t get too much more manly than this guy.

O_O Alucard... I hate that... thing. Someone always assumed his persona on another forum and loved getting into fights with me (darn immortal brat wouldn't die).

Why does that sound familiar?

Alucard's a gun, but I really don't know how manly he is compared to Gutts or even Kenpachi. Though I suppose he's quite similar in attitude to Kenpachi, he's a lot prettier when in normal attire, which drops the manliness points.

What the fuck is this 'that guy is a gun' business?

Seriously, what the hell? Use less rediculous and/or obscure slang, pwease. o.o For the sake of my remnants of sanity.

I guess the opinion is that one must use a sword to be manly. Psh.

Besides, everyone knows guns are better than swords, anyway. So are spears and halberds. Silly sword obsessed boys over-romanticizing the weapon and its capabilities.

I'm not confused by the choice of weapon, merely the fact that you can call a man a gun. I have never heard anyone do that ever until now. And it just sounds wrong.

And I certainly haven't seen anyone say 'that man is a sword'.

Edit: Wait, I think Lena was just talking about 'manly' men in general using swords rather than guns. My bad. Steel Samurai still needs to explain himself though.

Well, I was just attempting explain what... Steel was doing, or what it looked like he was doing. "Guns" as in gun users aren't as manly... at least to him? I don't call them that. I call them 'people who need to upgrade their arsenal' men. I'll... be sticking with sci-fi pilots and soldiers for my 'manly men,' as that's really the only genre I watch anymore. Some noted exceptions included. ;)

I think "gun" is an Australian term. Calm down. Yay for guns > swords, though.

this thread is awesome steel.

Indeed it is.

Its just a general descriptive word to mean that someone is "awesome" or "abnormally cool", but it does however have its own manly element to it. And it will usually have nothing to do with guns.

So its not obscure in Australia at all Fyxe, pwease try to broaden your cultural horizons.

Some of the guys in this thread are bishier than some of the bishi thread. o.o

Not that I complain, but...

As for the weapon-obsessed guys, you have just reminded me that both swords and guns are phallic symbols. I can see the gayness floating in the air XP

Yes to Ransom. Not a putdown at all. Should've used Posted Image Australian Posted Image tags. I love Alucard. But Gutts is still probably about the most manly anime character I can think of right now. Also, swords are more manly because they require more skill to use properly. In any case:
Posted Image Second most manly guy I can think of. Looks aren't all that makes bishiness. Most, but not all.

pwease try to broaden your cultural horizons.

Pwease try to learn when I'm not being 100% serious.

That applies to more than just Ransom. If I sound like I'm being over the top, I'm probably, just maybe, doing it on purpose.

The 'gun' term is weird as heck though, can't avoid that.

And yes, Spike is a manly man, and so is Vicious despite his slightly bishy hair.

I WAS GOING TO USE IKARI!!! I thought for sure no one'd think of him. Bah.
Mugen:Posted Image
Guns=Awesome which, in the Australian mindset means it's perfectly acceptable to use the words interchangeably.

Spoiler : click to show/hide
Vicious only makes the cut because he ordered his men to kill Julia, and never exhibited the slightest trace of remorse. Ever. Which completely erases any bishiness his hair gave him.
