Anyway, to get back to the original topic...

I've read lots of Fruits Basket, seen Pokémon up until they stopped showing it (about Johto), never read/seen Naruto or Tokyo Mew Mew. I'm not sure of anywhere you can watch them...

I love the theme song to Steel Angel Kurumi to death for some reason, but recently I watched the series again after only seeing it once with my friends back in early high school, and it's just... it's too much. Too cliche, too annoying, too... yech. D: So I'll just stick with the theme song.

Still suprised no one has heard of Ginga Densetsu Weed, though. That anime was actually incredibly enjoyable (a rarity when it comes to anime for me).

My older brother got me the last four discs for Christmas (there are seven in all in case you don't know) and I decided to start the series over again (because I now own them all) and my family started watching it with me. (they usually just make fun of me for liking anime) but it was my two little brothers, my older brother (he's 23) and my MOM watching it with me... soon my brother had to leave so it was just the four of us, Mom and two little brothers.... a few days (and discs) later my little brothers were like gone all day so my Mom and I finished it. I was balling my eyes out and my Mom was really, really sad but she loved it (and she's like 53 so yeah wow)

My older brother called me the other day and asked to borrow the series so he could finish it XD

It's really, really good both animation wise and storyline.

I know its not in the title but what about Chobits? I've read all the manga and now I'm hoping to collect both that and the anime (I borrowed the box set of all 8 manga from a friend before) so we'll see how my money saving skills hold up.

But does anyone else like Chobits? Or heard of it? Its fairly popular...

Actually not really Splash, its pretty funny.

The robots are made for sex but also just as friends/cleaners but mostly companionship (I've only seen like the first disc but I've read all the manga) anyhow the anime is really funny and Chi is a very different robot so it adds some special stuff to the show. idk, I don't want to ruin it but I suggest checking it out.

Yeah but he always knew she was a robot, the thing is is that they can't ever have sex because her "restart" button is.... "down under" if you will. So basically Hediki gives up his carnal pleasure because he loves Chi, which in and of itself is bad because that one (living) delivery girl had the hots for him and she was really sweet and cute and he gave that up too >.< too bad for that hentai boy!

Alright, so Chobits is definitely a hentai of sorts.
Hentai are hilarious, though. My friends and I got one years ago and watched it. "Mimi" something... I Dream of Mimi? I forget, but it was hilarious, and had that same cliche plot.

I meant, whether Chi can actually "love" or not. Is she just acting out a programme that's superficially similar to love, or can she move beyond that and love for herself?

As for the Chii thing, she's programmed to learn new things, so why can't she learn how to form attachments and develop such feelings?
