Anyhow I should really read the manga but I don't have the money's to invest in it all, I wish they'd just come out with more of the show

Hell no! The first season of Pokemon was way better. I'll take James's and Brock's antics over bathroom jokes anyday.
Plus the games were actually fun and intuitive, whereas the Digimon console attemps were just painful.

Man, it feels weird defending something I watched when I was in freaking elementary/middle school...

What?! Pokemon season one WAS good, but I've always been a Digimon fan. True, it got kind of sucky around season...4? But so did Pokemon. They became too repetitive and you knew the good guys were always going to win. Ash was just to much of a pussy for me lol, where as Ty was more of a fighter and I like Joshua Seth's voice a lot more (he also played Hige from Wolf's Rain <3)
