"Hello little man." The giant said. "It's time for you to die."

Ken cut through the ranks like butter, and at the rate that he was going, soldiers started to part to get away. In due time, Ken reached his target. The commander got off his horse and clapped his hands.
"Bravo, bravo young sir. Would you be interested in joining General Khuffie's Army? If you do, I'll drop all charges against you for killing my men."
"I could care less. Now please, surrender yourself and all your men, I don't want anymore bloodshed." Ken tried to bargain back.
"I'm afraid I can't do that, little boy."
The last line struck a chord in Ken.
"I am not a little boy!" he cried, charging froward and swinging.
His opponent dodged, drew a dagger, and struck against the metal of the Wolfen. The aura surrounding Wolfen disapated into the air.
Ken fell to the ground, his weapon feeling extremely heavy.
"What---what did you do?" the boy asked with eyes wide.
"I am Corporal Amaji. I was not promoted without reason child. I saw you magically enhance your blade and cut through the ranks." the leader spoke.
Ken stood up, feeling extremely tired. He huffed and puffed as he looked around. Some soldiers had circled around the conflict, watching was the unfolding.
"This little trinket," Amaji said as he twirled the dagger in his hand, "Is a lovely little weapon which speeds up the duration of spells so fast that they come to an immediate end."
The corporal sheathed the dagger, and drew a Claymore-sized broadsword.
"Now then little boy, lets see if you can use that sword without the spell."
Ken gripped the handle of the Wolfen tightly, bringing himself up to his shaking legs.
"I don't need help... to defeat you!" the boy declared.
He charged, making a large, gradual swing at Amaji. Amaji easily dodged the slow swing, bringing his sword down on the Wolfen, knocking it to the ground. Ken once again laid on the ground panting--to add insult to injury, Amaji kicked Ken a few times.
"Well, well, it looks like no more than a little dog with a few lame tricks."
Amaji kicked Ken more, making the boy cough up blood.
"Well? Say you last words, or are you resigned to die already little boy?"
Ken slowly got himself onto his hands and knees.
"My name... Is Ken Miyamasa..."
The boy looked up Amaji, piercing the Corporal with a bestial glare.
"And I.. am no dog... I am..."
Ken called on the last of his spirit, and trandformed himself into his wolf form. Amaji stepped back a little bit befotre regaining his composure in fornt of the growling wolf.
"Hmph, you have another trick. No matter..."
Amaji charged and sliced at Ken, who dodged.
"You can't evade me forever, boy!"
However, Ken no longer cared about the name-calling. His mind no longer functioned under Ken's usual mindset. Only the raw instinct and intellect of battle ruled his body.
Amaji put away his sword and pulled out his dagger.
"Come oh come little boy!" he taunted.
The wolf snarled, going into a run. He then jumped, using his weight to push the Corporal to the ground. The wolf then went for the neck as Amaji stabbed the dagger into the wolf's fur. To Amaji's dismay, nothing happened.
"What, bu--AAAAAH!!!"
The wolf tore at Amaji's neck, thrashing wildy. Within the seconds, the corporal was dead. The wolf stood over the limp body, howling. All the other soldiers that witnessed the event ran and scattered in fear. Many of soldiers ran, shouting "Corporal Amaji is dead! Corporal Amaji is dead! Run for your lives!"
Wolf Ken however, still felt the urge for battle--he mauled the soldiers that stood their ground, and barked at those who ran away.
The Beast within Ken had awakened, and would not stop until all threats were gone.

Steel smiled and launched himself at the giant, swinging his blades in an swift arc at the giant's throat. The man's head slipped off of his body onto the ground with a thud. Steel flipped in mid air and landed on the other side of the giant. Not a drop of blood could be seen on the blades as Steel sheathed them. From behind him Steel heard a loud laugh.
"You thought you could beat me that easily?" The giant's body, still standing, turned and picked up his head, putting it back on his head. Not a drop of blood could be seen. "Now it's my turn." The giant pulled a massive saber from his back, easily as long as the giant was high, and swept it at Steel with a speed that belied his girth. Steel quickly used shunpo to dodge out of the way, but as he pushed off the ground he felt a tearing sensation in his thigh. He grabbed it convulsively, and landed on his back 10 feet from the giant. Diel. He'd overdone it in the madness of his bloodlust. Steel slowly got up, using his Dai-Katana as a support. The Giant looked at him and laughed. "Pulled a muscle have we?" Then 400 pounds of flesh began charging towards the stooped figure.

The foxtaur then walked towards Motoko, holding Husky in her arms. "Take her somewhere safe. She'll wake in an hour," she said.

After a while of waiting, Motoko started to feel tired herself. She curled up in Husky's arms and front paws and quickly drifted off to sleep

If you might've noticed, all of the posts from after New Year's are gone. So rather than have everyone waste their time with typing everything again, I'll just type up a summary.
----------
-Ken and Steel battled an army of Legends Alliance soldiers; Kitsune soon joins the fray
-Ken was a wisp for a while, but is now stuck in his wolf form until Dorm War 2; something strange is also happening to him other than being stuck in his alternate form...
-Steel and Kitsune are now going to a town after hearing a scream
-Ken's and Steel's FF tattoos are burning, signifying that they are needed (for the Dorm War, I'm guessing); I'm unsure of what Ken will do, but I know Steel will go to where he is needed after investigating the woman's scream
-Motoko (status pending) and Husky are rushing to where Ken is, thinking he is in danger
-Button, Hali (NPC) and Z are at sea heading for the "garden" (refer to previous pages), but a sudden change in current has forcibly changed their course and they are now heading towards the Dorm War location
-Z's plan is revealed; go to the "garden" first, then solve the mystery of the Crimson Chests (he suspects that DarkJuno may already have the third chest), and going for the scrolls afterwards
----------
There, that should about patch things up. Now if DL14 can get his "The Storm" topic back up, all will be well with LA Chronicles again.

He noted the second horse and turned his head a bit "I don't need a horse..." he said as he got on the second one. Rather uncomfortable too, he hates horses.

"But Im bored, so lets get to the killing." Kitsune said as he unsheathed his sword.
He got his sword glowing and ready to perform a kaze no kizu. He waited for Steel to get ready before he begins his charge...

He was dissatisfied with the performance of the soldiers he was fighting. None of them have seen a [half] demon before, and they were still frightened.
One of the officers seemed to put up a better fight, parrying some of the kaze dao's blows but was soon overtaken. The other two officers were more experienced, but were discussing something amongst themselves as Kitsune chopped through the footsoldiers.
A line of ten or so archers arrived...drew their arrows...aimed at the house...lit the arrows, and fired.
Kitsune noticed this and shoved the soldiers aside and headed straight for the archers getting ready to fire a second volley of flaming arrows.

Another officer ordered the men to stand down, and withdrew a straight sword and came faster than Kitsune knew humans could run.
Before he could think any thoughts he was locked in a fierce battle with a arm going ablaze.

He said nothing as he motioned toward the horses, he set the two girls on his own horse, and helped Steel onto the horse Steel was riding before.

At the bottom floor of the burning house, Koran listening to what was going on. "A battle... wait; is that... Kitsune I sense...?" he thought, not forgetting Kitsune's powerful aura from when they'd met on the island with the Crimson Chest. His ice-elemental properties meant he liked cold places, and under the house was the perfect place. His blue cloak was mucked up by the mud, but he didn't care. He wasn't blue since he didn't have his ice shield on; his skin was tanned and his hair was bright blue, and his eyes were a crimson colour. He slowly got to his feet under the hole under the house he made, and immediately took notice of the abnormal heat. "Heat... so much heat... what's going on?" Putting on his blue ice shield again, making him look like a blue human being with completely red eyes, he leapt out of the hole he made, crashing through the floorboards and landing on the floor just as Steel left; he only hoped that Steel assumed is was the ceiling breaking due to the fire.
When he noticed that Steel took no opportunity to inspect what happened, Koran looked around; it was a raging inferno all around him. Very bad given he was an ice-elemental, so he had to get out of here fast, and also be careful not to be seen by those attacking the house. ON his way out, however, he noticed something on the ground. They looked like papers. Koran began to reflect on a few things. Z had given him a telepathic communication through the crystals he brings with him, informing him about the scrolls that Steel possessed. He was also told that Steel occasionally travelled with Kitsune.
"I wonder... could this 'Steel' have been the one who rescued those two girls who were screaming? If so, then are these..." he thought, reaching down to pick up the rolls of paper. He examined them; one was filled with a bunch of characters that he did not even begin to recognize. The other appeared to be some kind of translation.
The stolen scrolls. They had to be. Koran praised his fortune that the scrolls had not been burnt, let alone that Steel so carelessly dropped them in the first place. "He must've dropped them in his haste when he was resucing the two girls. This is too perfect... guess I've got an early birthday present for Z." he thought. He stuffed the scrolls into his ice sheild at his waist so that they wouldn't succumb to the fire, and manipulated the ice on his arm into a long, spiked club of sorts. He used it to smash through the side of the house opposite of where Steel left, and disappeared into the dense forest.
A good and bad day all in one as far as he concerned; good because Koran had retrieved what Z had lost, possibly out of pure luck, and bad because now he had to find a new cold area to meditate.
On his way, he took out a keychain similar to Z's, though instead of a blue crystal with the other ones, there was a black one. It glowed at Koran ran, and he began telepathic communication. "Z, where are you? I have a little present for you..."

"Well, Ill be seeing you later then. Im sure we'll meet again soon." With that, he jumped off the horse and watched the two horses leave his sight.
He put his sword away and let out a sigh of relief. He was by himself again and that's all that mattered. He wasn't too big on the cooperation thing anyway.
He walked slowly back toward the woods he started this long journey from...
