I've heard a lot of mentions of Ocarina of Time. In fact, the first post said something about Majora's Mask not being the next 'big' Zelda game because the plot was too different. Well that's how I'm interpreting it for now. I don't want another Ocarina of Time. We already have it. If the new Zelda was too similar to Ocarina, it would be boring. It would be a beautiful, awesome game, but it would lack everything that makes Ocarina so special and unique.

After seeing the E3 trailer, I am very curious as to what Nintendo plans to do with this game.

Don't hurt me, but I think FSA is the IW. When you think about it, it seems like Capcom meant it like that. The IW says "back when Ganon was a man named Ganondorf" which he was in FSA, although we never saw him like that. When Ganon is *SPOILER?* sucked into the Four Sword at the end, maybe he was being sent to the Dark World. *SPOILER* And maybe the seven wise men were the seven maidens (again, don't kill me) explaining why the descandants of the sages are all human (sorry, Hylian.) Oh, and the obvious similarites of FSA and LttP's maps.

Dude, I was actually going to play that! Thanks a lot!

Woah! You're calling the starter of this whole thingy the first post!? You are actually humiliating me! Majora's mask was too unlike OoT. The only story reference was the mask guy and the ocarina. Other than that, nothing referred to OoT. Boring.....not quite. I would like a return to the land of hyrule. Link VS. and army, you know, with the sages and on Epona. Actually, that is another thing in Majora's Mask. And I just realized there was no reason to put this post up. Wow! I just answered my question. With Epona, if you havent seen that seen, and that part where Link is in a town, I am almost definately sure, Dark_Dude, that this game is the big sequel I have been waiting for. Thanks everyone, but for those who just dont think what I am talking about is possible, I hope I have just reassured you. Well, of course we dont know if that really is Epona, but I have faith. Oh, and it doesnt have to be exactly like Ocarina. Just a big sequel, a true sequel.

I was looking for the same thing, but I don't know, I think this upcoming game is a sequel to TWW. I've already found a lot of satisfaction in TWW, and very, very, little in MM in the epic department, but I don't think anything can compare to the pure Good vs. Evil magic in OoT.

Sorry mate, I didn't mean it to be at all humiliating. I just couldn't be bothered going back and quoting your post, so I assumed that when I said "the first post" everyone would know I was referring to the first post in this topic.

Ok, I interpreted your you saying "When Majora's Mask came out, I thought it was just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the plot was not very similar" as that you didn't think MM (and later WW) was the next big thing because it wasn't OoT. Now I see that you mean you actually want the next game to be more true to the 'typical' Zelda series set in Hyrule, ie. Ocarina of Time, Link to the Past, Legend of Zelda. At least I think.

I think that this Upcoming Zelda game is going have a lot of similarities to Ocarina of Time. However, It will be better. There's a reason Nintendo has kept this so secretive. There is also a reason Nintendo isn't rushing to get this done before Christmas. Nintendo will take all the time it takes to make a brand new classic. This game will probably have as many or more dungeons then Ocarina of Time. But, It will also have close to same amount of exploring as The Wind Waker. As for where this game fits into the timeline. It most likely takes place after Majora's Mask. It looks like Link is back in Hyrule too. I think this game is the one that I and so many people have been waiting for.
