well, if you're talking about abiogenesis, there's no reason males couldn't do that (the gorons DO look like clones..) ... and.. some other means.. well.. it would be possible, it just wouldn't happen as often cuz pretty frequently you'd get two gametes with Y chromosomes, and that wouldn't work.
Then again, that relies on our assumption that they're mammals. birds and other things do their chromosomes entirely differently.

Outside the Temple of Time, in the Market:
Gossip Stone 4: "They say that Gerudos sometimes come to Hyrule Castle Town Market to look for boyfriends."

If this is what the female Gerudos do in order to reproduce and stuff....I'm guessing that maybe the Gorons also do the same thing......(Run for your...Virginity, Ladies!)

No, it is possible for females to reproduce without males, but it is not possible for males to reproduce with out females.

Just what I was thinking.

Maybe they reproduce like the Graboids (watch "Tremors", anyone?) and hoch their young out of their mouths once they get big enough. If it's true and I see it happen, keep away from the restroom!! I'll be puking 'til the cows come home!!

If that were the case, the Gorons would not really be male.
