That proves it is post-OOT!

Not really, but I'm not one to put it before OoT.

Hm...FS is definately part of the Zelda universe. If it isn't, then what is? if it's not, we can just say OOT isn't canon, and Zelda 1 isn't canon, and bleh bleh bleh. I agree with HoW on that. However, I do think that FS comes before OOT, but due to Minish Cap, I'm rethinking they're placement, so I'm going to try and stay off the subject for now.

Could somebody explain their reasoning behind FSA being pre OoT? I always thought that OoT was the first emergence of the Ganon, being that before that Ganondorf was a human (Gerudo) living in the desert. There isn't anything to suggest that Ganon was a huge pig monster feared by all before this point.

Um...well...for one, Ganon isn't feared at all in FSA, and it seems to be the first emergence of Dark Link. the Geography looks quite similar to OOT, and FSA seems to imply that it was a different Ganon, like a seperate Incarnation. there are several Links and Zeldas, why not a second Ganon or something o.o It's also possible that FSA happens in the aftermath of OOT, when Link goes to warn Zelda of the past. o.o

if you will rethink the comments of the 4SA civilians, to the best of their knowledge nothing like the Dark Links has ever happened, and they have no idea who Ganon is. However, the Gerudos know a lot about Ganon- they make it very clear he is doing what they wish him not to, *SPOILER* by going into the pyramid and getting the Trident of Power. It's the Trident that makes him into the beast, because the Gerudo say he's a man, not a monster. */SPOILER*

That indicates to me that 4SA was trying to get away from the overused Triforce, without sacrificing the classic elements of Ganon. It thus makes it feel to me that we are talking about two Ganons. Who knows, perhaps Ganondorf is a family name.

What i'm trying to get at is that 4SA is probably centuries after OoT, and certain parts of that story are naturally not present in 4SA.

Um... have you played FSA? If anything, the map looks more like ALttP.

The only thing that made people think that FS/FSA was pre-OoT in the first place is Aonuma's comment about "oldest in the timeline". Which I interpret, as of now anyways, as being last.

I never heard that quote, but either way, it looks like we're dealing with a new Ganon and I am as of now beginning to rethink FS's placement, so...yea.

I thought the quote was 'earliest' not 'oldest,' which makes it easier to interpet as the most recent whereas oldest means oldest no matter how you look at it.

Ganon is the same guy. But at the same time new! But I won't get into that yet...
