Now the question is...will Nintendo make a waterproof version so scuba divers can do the same thing?

Four months. ;)

If I recall we've even discussed this before in one of the many DS topics. Unless this is a new incident, of course. Though this September is already off to a nasty start of old news being re-posted/reported. Thankfully not so much here. ;)

Would the wireless connection work up in space?

Yes, in fact, it would most likely work better, because there would be no matter to hinder the infrared light as it travelled to the other DS's.

I can see myself doing that..so easily. I can't stand still for five seconds without doing something in the meantime, so I'd probably think toting my DS around with me on great sky escapades would be a good way to pass all 10 seconds or so after the screen has loaded and before I haveta pull my shoot cord. XD

DS uses wireless, not Infa-red o.O

and yes it would work or satelite TV would not work, and the mars lander would go missing... (like it almost always does cue erie music)

Perhaps they could make it an sport out of stuff like this. Try skateboarding while playing Metriod Prime Hunters.
