Every girl I know and am friends with is a yaoi fangirl.

It gets amusing, and i'm also becoming experienced with the terminologies. Like slash.

But being straight I naturally prefer yuri out of the two.. and I don't get why it's so popular, widely accepted, and often "cute" if girls can discuss and admit to being yaoi pervs, but if guys like me admit to yuri it's often seen as dirty?

Why is it that the yaoi fangirls are often gay? It's confusing to me to know that a gay girl wants to watch boys have sex.. seems to me lesbians would prefer yuri. o_o;

I dunno why most of 'em are gay or bi themselves... all the straight girls I know actually admit that they find Yuri sexier than Yaoi for some reason. Tis a strange phenomenon...

What I find strange is how Western women just aren't interested in hot men going at it, or at least, not in the way that Japanese women are. No one caters for them. It's just strange.

I, however, love shounen ai and yaoi and am gay, so that makes perfect sense.

Women don't fit the genetic models of homosexuality either. You girls always have to go it your own way, don't you?

Hmm... So straight girls find Yuri sexier than yaoi? But I thought girls liked to see guys together like guys like girls together, and I have to say, bi girls are kind of sexy... My previous girlfriend, (well not really my girlfriend, just a girl I was seeing), was bi, and I found it very attractive. Is that the same for girls too?

Maybe it's like that because they're subconsciously attracted to something that is 'out of line' like them? Not sticking to the norm in our particular society. Whatever you want to call it.

lol its like fizzy bo bizzy said! I like guys too and I bearly found out I was bisexual 5 months ago so lol this is new to me and most lesbians do prefer yuri but I guess bis like yaoi more?

GermanLink- I don't find a bisexual man as attractive enough as I find a male's femininity and etiquette. A guy with a decent fashion sense, manners, knows how to listen, etc etc is much more attractive to me. I guess you could say I'm attracted to Metrosexual men. The good kind, not the snobby kind. I like men who have a feminine sense.

So let me get straight. So most Yaoi fangirls like Yuri and are bi/homosexual. Additonally, most normal women think Yuri is more sexy Yaoi. This conversation has been very enlightening. Perhaps I'll take this knowlege into account next Acen.

In any case, I don't know many Gay people. In my school I only know one. And one of the few girls I know is completly disgusted by Yaoi.

I guess I like funny anime too, sometimes there are those that are funny, have good action and even have alittle bit of softcore hentai in them... I think it was called Excel saga? My friend let me borrow it once, it was good.

Yeah, tell me about it. Last year in my Honors World History class, my classmates would make fun of me for liking anime thinking it is for kids. Then when I try controdicting it with the existence Hentai, they call me a pervert. Then they go back to saying how kiddy it is. You can't have it both ways folks.

And a lot of Hentai is hilarious. I guess the kinkyness makes good humor.
