I think I might know a little CSS as well. hmm, we can just use sprites for everything--like birthdays and such, new topics, etc., etc. Just putting little sprites in place of things can get this board into a more Zelda environment. BTW, I have an idea for a banner for the top of the board. I just need to know the pixel dimensions before I begin.

Okay, I just had a massive brain storm. :nnsweat:

I have picked/altered some sprites for the use of the members, statistics, and birthdays icons, instead of the ones I made above. I think these icons would go well for these sections at the bottom of the board.

I pick the third member icon of the three, closely followed by the first one.

For the statistics icons, I choose the second one.

And for the birthday icons, I choose the sixth onem, followed by the fourth one.

I didn't realize choosing one of each category would be so difficult for me. O.o

I'm sure that Khuff would be able to work with skins- heck, just find three pre-made for vB...the main problem is that he's lazy.

Seems like a pretty good idea, as the board could do with a more zeldaish theme about it.

Google. And I'm speaking of experience from phpBB mostly. But when Khuffie switched to VBulletin, I actually was out helping him find skins. There's a few free ones - a lot you have to pay for. phpBB has very few skins you pay for. It seems only logical that VBulletin skins would be harder.

All your sprites look great, just try to stick with one game, as in either do them all TMC, all LTTP, etc. It'll make it look more uniform.

Yeah, I'd have to agree there. I think TMC sprites would look best, but I'm going to stick with the trifoce idea for the forums part.

By the way, I the pots better for the threads...

I agree. Use TMC pots. You could use the last ones on the forums themselves, or possibly the stone obelisks from TMC.

Yeah, I was leaning for the pots for the posts as well.

I really hope Khuff looks at this. I decided to save any trouble and converted these images into single gif. files for easy transfer. Once Khuff appears, he can change these images for the current ones in the default skins, and any other skin if he'd like.

Well, the skin would basically be shades of green, and then covered in some banners. We need a certain lightness and spiffyness to the green though, I think. Could we ask |)ark Elf? Maybe he knows how...
