Then people's eyes would pop out and everyone would be blind. Computers would become useless and we've slowly evolve into bat-like creatures that use echo-location to find our way around. New computers would be built that use strange touch-screen interfaces that can be manipulated to form braille-like bumps. Our sense of smell would increase to combat against the blindness and we'd become a race of Evil Bat Mutants. We'd eventually develop wings and spread out over the Universe, searching for new necks to bite... Eventually to be slain by a race of vampire hunters.
