Now, I think that Jaina's gotten herself confused. Reno may look attractive (for a pixelated character as he is), but if we're talking ~pretty~...that's Cloud. We all remember how well he pulled off cross-dressing.

In all seriousness, though (pfft, as if I ever am serious), it feels as if all the people making this movie have holed themselves up in a locked vault. We're only getting the rarest, somewhat new pics. We got to see Cait Sith this time, but otherwise all is hidden. No new trailers coming out...just complete silence. Who knows whether we'll really hear anything more from them until 9/14.

No, I think the prettiest Square character thus far is still Kuja, and he doesn't even have a movie to look disturbingly glamorous and petty.

Anyway, to expand on what I said, it's good that Cait Sith's around, but I'm still going to go ahead and be wary of this thing. The only way I can be disappointed now is if it manages to be even worse then I expect....and that'd be pretty bad.

Besides, I wouldn' be surprisedif they give us at least one more trailer at either E3 later this week or at More Friends tonight - maybewe'll even get to hear the dubbers. Bets on which anime/other game character Cloud will sound like, right here!

Yeah, I do agree with DJ that most likely we will see a new trailer. Though I would expect it to be E3 and not More Friends..even though Nobuo did do the music for Advent Children. I sort of hope so..since September is SO FAR AWAY!!




And yeah..I do have to agree with DJ that Kuja is the prettiest...Reno is just sexy XD

Of course it'll have music from the game. XP Just...possibly one or two new arrangements? Mebbe? Heck, all we've heard in the trailers or site were the Overworld theme, One Winged Angel..was there some Aerith's theme?

And just remember, Masa- FFX-2 wasn't music by him, so the man still has no connections to anything vaguely J-pop.

...except the Black Mages versions of Otherworld and especially The Skies Above, but...that was...just weird.

x.X yeah that guy..just.sucks. I think he has done..a couple other Final Fantasies..though man..I just hope that like..Nobuo continues at least independently doing music for Square Enix..since gawd I dont want to think of how bad the games will suck if the guy who did X-2 takes over Nobuo's place. Then I really will agree with all the people who consider the Final Fantasy games to be shit now

Dirge of Cerebus is essentially an FFVII shooting game starring Vinny. Gunner's Gauntlet in X-2 was fun, but it better be better then that...

And come on now, X-2's music did suck quite a bit, but some of those pieces are disturbingly catchy. And the music from the Last Mission is actually pretty neat - sure, it's got nothing on Uematsu, but not bad compared to the normal OST.

Keep both Koda Kumi and Jade away though. >.>

As far as Otherworld and Skies Above from BMII though....the first one just ruined the whole "RAR! ANGST!!!!" angle of the song, and the latter just had a lousy singer.

There's a new AC trailer now, new footage and music (Arranged VII Music OMGWTFBBQ DJ You can read minds). With an official release date at the end.

September 13 this year is the official US release date.
