I think Halo and SSBB are over hyped.

Hyping ruins the game with high expectations, that it does. The best way to enjoy a game is just to know when it's coming, wait without reading anything about it, then buy it and enjoy it to it's fullest. Your expectations will be low and thus you can enjoy it more rather than being disappointed with higher expectations that the game just couldn't meet.

Ex: calling TP the "best game ever" before it even came out really lowered it's ratings afteward.

That's my philospohy on buying games, though, that is. ^^ Very um...konataish...

That mostly depends on how the person on the 'receiving' end of the joke takes it as such.

On the hype thing, I just read this morning in the news paper about such a hype around Halo 3. Microsoft pulled out quite some tricks I read to increase the amount of pre-orders... With success on their hand. So, you may have made a good point there.

I am, however, simply Anti-Microsoft, and as a result, Xbox, If you want to call that a prejudice, then I guess you could.

Yes, I plan on buying a PS3, once the backwards compatibility works out. But that's mostly for Final Fantasy/Crystal Dynamics games.
