For the first one I downloaded some blood spatter brushes.

The second one was done using only brushes (+ lightsaber), well clone brush too.

... And something else I need an opinion on, it's a banner for the top of a website i'm working on.



Does the little buffer between the top banner and the button below work, or should it be gone?

Rawrr, I'm reviving this thread 'cuz I need somewhere to put all my junk =P.

Anyway, here are a few banners I just made, trying to see if I can do anything decent with lens flare (the most cliche'd photoshop effect), and lighting effects.









Whaddya think? personally, I think that the first one is too simple, the second one is painful on the eyes, the third one's alright and the fourth one is actually worthwhile. But why am I commenting on my own stuff? XP

hehe OC, what you said about your stuff is pretty much what I had in my mind when I looked at them. My favorite is the fourth one. The lighting effect works extremely well in it, and I like the red background that goes along with it.

Here's something else to chew on. I'm testing out some website banner designs, and came up with one (2 different versions). Here they are, I need opinions =P.

Here's a few thing's I've been messing around with. I'm tryouts to work with eyes right now, see what works.
