They're really good (I just got the second volume a few weeks ago), but the show's easier to follow.

The interesting difference between the manga and the anime is the fact that, so far, the whole manga has taken place after Ed became a State Alchemist, whereas in the anime, it starts where he was a State Alchemist, has an episode explaining how they ended up the way they are, follows him to becoming a State Alchemist and then 3 years pass (so basically showing everything up to right before the first two episodes) and then continuing normally.

I actually find the manga easier to follow, time-wise, since they didn't jump backwards and confuse me.

I really love the manga thus far (kinda annoyed I have to wait every two months for the next one though) and its cool to notice little differences between the episodes and stories.

and in the Manga, Envy's able to transform into animals as well as humans *plays with toes*

Maybe he could transform himself some boots. They'd go great with his bikeshorts and miniskirt.

Hmm Im getting the manga it looks more funnier than the anime but Im still collecting the anime though you know it gets hard especially that I dont have a job........yet but sooner or later Im gettin the manga to see tha Envy! :lol:

Well, he could if he wanted. He can morph any part of himself, just like Mystique from X-men.

I dunno what was so great about Envy. Yeah he could morph, he was sadistic, he could fight. But Greed. Now Greed was just plain cool.

That's just another word for "cool".

I think Greed vs Envy, Greed would come out on top. I could explain my reasons, but that'd mean spoiling it and I'm not up to spoiler tagging at the moment. I'll give you an explanation later maybe.

Yeah but Greed's the first Homonculus to die. Envy lives throughout the entire series and even into the movie. So does Wrath.

Yeah but that's because he was tricked by his CREATOR. Ed was able to handle Envy on his own, without a piece of Envy's original body, and would have most definately taken him had it not been for his shock at seeing his own father in Envy. And it's not known whether or not Envy actually lived. Wrath is the only definite survivor.

Nope, Envy is actually a villain in the movie. See my first page, I believe. He's a dragon. Dunno if that's a transformation or not, but it's who he is in the movie.

And Fizz, those images aren't from the movie (highlight), the dragon is from the third (I think it's that one) opening sequence for the series, and that picture of Envy is from the second last episode in the series.

I feel this anime must be *somewhat* overrated. Primarily because DBZ fans seem to like it. Which is worrying.
