Yeah I just read it comes with the Minish cap, which means I'm so desperate I'll even borrow money of my mum with me paying intrest, I'm letting go of my miserly ways for this.

I have a friend who painted some of the Wind Waker stuff on his PC. I'm thinking I should get another case and do the same.
Not sure about painting an SP though... what if you mess up? i'd hate to have to take sandpaper to a Game Boy.
And one last thing- The DS will rock because it's bigger, and so it's harder to steal (trust me, i take my friend's stuff all te time... the smaller the item the easier it is to pickpocket. which is why i still have a gba original)
