Malon. She's the only one of the women who liked him who wasn't a sage. And Talon offered Link a chance to marry her. Maybe when Link got a little older he took her up on the offer.....

Wow, as if this thread hasn't been done five billion times, but again I shall say: Malon.
And Marin just wasn't the same. They were the most perfect for each other but she was either A) a bird at the end, B) a figment of his imagination C) Both.

She was a citizen of Koholint Island, an actual universe in the Wind Fish's dreams. When Link enters that universe, he meets Marin, and in the end you see her flying away, escaping from Koholint to the real world.

Meh, that's a theory. Just cause big fish was sleeping...doesn't mean...I mean the ending suggests it was Link's dream.

of course it's not zelda... it's clear in ALTTP that they're not meant to be. and theres a fair number of references to Malon in OOT.

True, single seems to be the Happy Medium.
But there's something about romance. I'm glad most people here have come to their senses, if we're referring to OoT Link it's INCREDIBLY obvious that he doesn't go with Zelda.

ever even see the NEW a link to the past manga, and yes EIJI Aunoma even worked with akira himikawa, well those too are meant to be! A good happy ending!
so I wouldn't say those to weren't meant to be, they were actually basicly made for each other!
Zelda was the first woman Link saved thats why I think Zelda and Link are more one. Since they both have this same connection with the Triforce and destiny, they keep secrets to each other. They are actually really close.

You should see the new a link to the past comic, Zelda and Link fluff all the way!
Link starts changing into a wolf-like creature, and somehow the crystal from Zelda breaks open! *__* and Zelda walk to the half Link/wolf. and she HUGS HIM *O*
and changes him back to normal!
I love that part!!
