Actually he has said it should be satte issue. In his own state Kerry has supported an amendment but only if it provides for civil unions. This is one isse I disagree with Kerry one but it will not change my vote.

My prediction is that Bush will win the election.

I'm not in agreement with a sizeable number of his policies, but I just don't think Kerry can unseat him. I think that Kerry would make a fine President, but I don't think that's what he's going to come out of the election as.

I vote Mickey Mouse, like the cool 200 voters from last election who went with the Master of Mousedom.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That's entirely choice. I do not find it admirable at all, however, that your country gives you the most sacred right that it can reasonably give, and you mock it. Hey, your choice though.

But if Mickey wins... that would be kind of funny.

Why not? People we elect, abuse their power. They mock the people. We should be mocking the government every chance we get.

It doesn't matter. Bush is going to win the real election. Kerry is too much of a wuss. He won't attack Bush as harshly as Bush attacks him. For that he will go the way of Dukakis.

Sure will. It's going to be a Bush landslide. It will be interesting to see what the next 4 years turn out to be like, considering how much has happened in the past 4.

The poll asks who's going to screw over the country again. So I had to vote Bush, because Kerry wouldn't screw the country over.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hahaha, I was just saying. Seems like no matter who's president anymore, the public is gonna end up hating them.

It's okay, Arunma. HoW not Catholic, just Republican. :)

Besides, I'm not really into politics enough to be considered a member of any party.

And that's why I love the BBC. :D (sorry if that's not the right quote exactly...my computer doesn't seem to like the new LA skin and so won't let me review the whole topic.)

And I'm for Bush...I just think that Kerry's going to be under too much pressure to withdraw from Iraq. Which would be a very bad thing indeed. Plus, I like globalisation.

That said, I'm not so sure about his same-sex marriage ideas...

What is considered a land slide anyway? I don't think it will be a huge gap. But I don't think it is going to be that close either.

Reagan's re-election was a landside. This will be a close race. Not nearly as tight as 2000, but still pretty close.

No, I think it'll be a large gap, one way or the other. Once the American People have decided who they hate more, they'll stick with that.

"What is considered a land slide anyway? I don't think it will be a huge gap. But I don't think it is going to be that close either."

I consider a landslide to be a seperation of more than 50 electoral votes, considering how close the 2000 election was.

Here are two great election poll sites:
http://www.electionp...ctions2004.html (Republican bias)
http://www.electoral-vote.com/ (Seems to be centrist)

The second one has been tracking the polls for a good 8 months now. However, polls don't tell the whole story, obviously. Case in Point: The Canadian 2004 Federal Election.

Anyway, I don't mean that all Catholics are Republican. I'm just saying that Catholic Republicans are usually hardcore.

Yeah, but I'm not worried about it not happening. God doesn't need my votes to come back and destroy all the unbelievers.
