Kerry. I like what he has to say. And I so very much dislike what Bush has to say and how he runs thing. Especially after reading Price of Loyalty.

I'd like Kerry too if "what he said Friday night is the same thing on Saturday morning". ;)

I vote Bush. I know there COULD be someone better, but for this election, he's the best option over the shadowy liberals.

Yeah... it's great how Bush is decisive and resolute. He'll stick with what he said, even if he knows it's wrong. Kerry, though... that yella-bellied flip-flopper has the NERVE to correct himself and change his opinions as new things become apparent or occur. Only a COWARD would think before they said something.

There's a difference between correcting and contradicting yourself.

If he says A on tuesday, B on Wednesday, and A on Thursday, he;s contradicting himself. If he says A on Tuesday, B on Wednesday, and C on Thursday, he's changing with the world. Kerry usually does the latter.

Granted, he has problems. I don't like him, that's for sure. But Bush is much, much worse.

Well... as long as you admit Kerry's bad. Although this is exactly what I'm talking about. Most anti-Bush stuff is just that: anti-Bush. The pro-Kerry junk is just a side dish.

How is Bush like Pokemon?

Well, here's how: despite the entirely unfair "cool-to-hate" bias in the media and pop culture, Bush is still really winning the campaign because he's better than a lot of the other guys out there.

Kerry, on the other hand is like Gollum. Following his politics is much like the famed Smeagol/Gollum conversation scenes in the Lord of the Rings films. "we will kill the Hobitses!" "No, Master is our friend! We likes him!"

It works well on the silver screen, but not on the leader of my nation.

Guess who I voted for... just guess.

I love it. Everyone supporting Bush in this thread is really a Kerry voter!

The poll asks who's going to screw over the country again. So I had to vote Bush, because Kerry wouldn't screw the country over.

And how the fuck is Bush better when he wants to amend the constitution to ban same-sex marriage? Bush being better is utter bullshit. Shame on you for thinking such things ;)

Hey, if he banned different-sex marriage as well, everything would be cool. Keep my church out of your state.

And thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed that the poll was intended to flame someone. Funny, and also very sneaky. Anyway, I still don't like Kerry, no matter how I voted.

When has [Kerry] contadicted himself? I already told you about the $87 billion in a thread before the hack. Give me another axample.

Yes, shame on me for having an opinion that's, God forbid, different from yours.

And I've said before that Bush has made mistakes, banning gay marriage being one of them. But not being gay, I frankly don't care. But then again, what's Kerry going to do about gay marriage? Oh yeah, he hasn't said anything. For all we know, Kerry would reinforce the same-sex marriage ban.

And I was under the impression that the "Who will screw the country over this time" was a joke. Plus, considering you think Bush has screwed us over, and you just voted for Bush in this poll, you've voted to re-elect Bush so that he could screw us over again.

ZING!

I did add the wink there to try and lighten the comment as I really did not mean you should be ashamed of your opinion. Sorry if it wasn't enough.

Funny. I saw Kerry say that he wanted to protect the rights of the U.S. Citizens, and that by banning it was a violation of those rights. So yes, he has said something. +1 point for me and Kerry.

But was he directly talking about same-sex marriages? And where and when did he say this?

It was quite a while ago, a couple of months, I think... on Meet the Press, and yes, he was talking about same-sex marriage specifically.
