Another thing they could do is combine Oot and MM on one card thanks to the DS cards having a lot more space of the 64 cartridges.

I don't think that the DS cards are that big? OoT and MM are fairly large games, I'm sure the DS can hold a lot more than a N64 cartrage, but I doubt that they can hold 2x as much. Anyways it'd be great if they could. If they couldn't I'm sure they could sell OoT and MM on 2 different cards but in one package, maybe for $40 insted of $30.

And yes, the should be captolized in TMC considering it's the first word. If it were the 2ed or 3ed word then uncaptolization would be fine, but you must captolize the first word, all hell will break loose if you don't!

I don't care what it says on the box, as a general rule I don't capitolize insignificant little words like "the", or "a", or "and" in the abbreviations of Zelda games.

So there :P

How about for the sake of title accuracy? Particles in titles are not capitalized, UNLESS they are the first word of said title, in which case they are. That's... not even up for debate.

As someone who got to play Four Swords with other people, I consider the experience just about equal, as far as enjoyment goes, with playing hopscotch on a bed of nails. But then, I just generally hate multiplayer games/game modes. Especially when the only factor given any real consideration is the multiplayer aspect, making the rest of the game suffer horrendously. But yeah, I'll shut up now, since I'm going pretty far off-topic...

The obvious solution is simply not to play Four Swords. I'm a die-hard Mario fan, but I don't feel obligated to play the latest Mario spin-off whenever one is made.

The new Mario spin off, is having Mario and Peach and Luigi playing in that new basketball game. No joke.

I'll check my NOM for the exact name of the game, and it's not by Nintendo, but it's all true.

Anyway... back on topic...

I don't know how much space a Nintendo 64 cartridge had on it. Does anyone know? The DS card can contain over a gigabit of data.

You talkin' about NBA Street V3? I wouldn't really call it Mario B-ball, considering it's just a basketball game, and the GCN port features Mario and co. Kind of like how the GCN port of Soul Calibur II featured Link.

That went through my mind, when a series of games that get rubbish reviews normally from Nintendo mags suddenly get praised as the best sports games ever...

Well, therein, my good man, lies the difference between you and me. But we've discussed this before.

maybe one of us should ask a editor on a website like IGN or Gamespot?

The Nintendo 64 cardridges had a max memory of about 512 megabits. The DS card could easily have up to two Nintendo 64 games on one card if Nintendo wanted to do so.

FS GBA was okay, while FSA was wonderful. I never even got to play it multiplayer, and I loved it.

And Chik: some of us are very sick of OoT Link.

That's excellent. Anyone want to help me petition a OoT/MM combo to Nintendo, walk this way...

It doesn't matter how many people sign, these online petitions never make a difference. Nintendo is fully aware the people want OoT on the DS, but in order to remake old games for new systems, that takes time away from newer games. So in the end, it comes down to this: would your rather have new, more innovative games for the DS? Or the same old OoT and MM we've played several times already?

When you told me that I've lost out because I think about it too much as a story rather than as a game.

If you want to play OoT and MM so badly, why not save the 180 dollars it would cost for a DS and OoT/MM DS, and just pick them both up, very cheaply, for the N64?

I already have a DS. I have a 64 too. But, that is beside the point. I would like to see Nintendo do what they did with A Link to the Past and all the other old Zelda greats. Make OoT and MM portable so I and all the other fans that love those two great games could enjoy them anywhere.

I signed.

Having the world's greatest game (OoT) in the palm of my hand would be incredible. I'd gladly pay the thirty-bucks. We should try to get as many people as possible to sign this petition if we really want it to make a difference. Advertise it on forums, link to it on your sites, tell your freinds, shave an ad for it into somebody's hair, whatever! This game would be a godsend for Zelda fans.
