And that's awesome that a DS card is that big. I didn't have any clue of how much bigger they were.

Innovations being more than giving me a map on the upper screen though. Something along the lines of letting me have multiplayer OoT combat, using First Person perspective more, using the mic for songs and the like. Touch targeting even in swordplay. You catch my drift, stuff that would really set them up for the next real game- a testing ground using the classic favorite as fodder. Find what works and what doesn't.

They could then take on Ganon's minions in combat, or even better, allow the players to choose who they want to ally with.
Now THAT sounds like an interesting storyline to me. What about you all?

Oy. I'll have to ask that guy who loaned me the magazine. There were screenshots of OoT, Link walking into the Deku Tree, only in a top-down, LttP style.
That was a screenshot from OoT2D, a fan project by somebody (Nintendo got his site shut down for copyright, as he was getting donations as profit). Of course, most people have by now figured out that most of his "screenshots" were fake and that the "project" was mostly a scam, perhaps with an afterthought of finishing it.
And, by the way, I've read that EGM and they weren't talking about actual games coming out for consoles, they were talking about fan-made PC versions of 3D console games.

How about an RPG that utilizes the wireless ability of the DS, and set the game in the time when Link wasn't there to help Hyrule in the apparent space between OoT and TWW? This way, the players could play not Link, but their OWN character, similar, yet different, from him.
They could then take on Ganon's minions in combat, or even better, allow the players to choose who they want to ally with.
Now THAT sounds like an interesting storyline to me. What about you all?
Yes! That sounds great. I'm tired of having Link being born over and over, there should be a new hero in Hyrule, or better, several new heroes in Hyrule like you said. Designing your own Zelda character who plays in a DS RPG with other original heroes. That would be heaven.

and ariana's triforce hoax was second!I hope a new LOZ comes out for DS before any ports do. As for OOT2d, thats one of the biggest scam in all of LOZ fandom.

It would also be a new franchise.
