I damn well hope that they don't put OoT on the DS. I already have four versions of the game.

And really now, you know that 4 Swords won't be the only Zelda DS game.

I'm sure that we'll get a all new zelda game for the DS tho, prolly not til the end of the DS's cycle (like GBC).
It'll probably go 4 swords (early 2006) OoT (late 2006) all new zelda DS (mid 2007).

No. But they are planning (another) Four Swords game.
Thank you for confirming a great fear of mine. Damn, damn, and damn.

Four? I only have three! Where's the last one from?Moved to General Zelda.

OoT DS would be great, just like Mario64DS. Now, it's portable, and I already know how to beat it, so what you do with it is basically show off. "Hey! Check out this guy! He's kickin' ass!"
And I'm sick of Four Swords.

Ignore joey, he's just biased.

Considering you could control the four Links by yourself in FSA and TMC, and Aonuma specifically stated he learned from his mistake in FS (you could only play with other people), I think it's a safe bet that FS DS can be played from one to four people.

Don't knock FS. I was skeptical when I first heard of multiplayer Zelda, but FSA is one of the best recent titles in the series. If only it were longer, and had more to do. And allowed me to name my character after myself.

Your point? FSA could be played single player, but it was still basically a piece of crap.Considering you could control the four Links by yourself in FSA and TMC, and Aonuma specifically stated he learned from his mistake in FS (you could only play with other people), I think it's a safe bet that FS DS can be played from one to four people.
And tMC wasn't a Four Swords game.

I have both the gold and grey cartridges of the N64 verison, which I'm counting as two.
And then of course there's Master Quest and the Collector's edition.

Hey, hey, HEY! I'm not the only one who's sick of FS games... just the only one who was after the first one... and before it... but that's a discussion for another time and place.

If they enhanced the graphics a bit, and maybe did some real changes to it and called it OoTDS or something I would probably enjoy it.

FSA wasn't crap. And I don't think I said TMC was an FS game, just that you could control four Links.
And God damn you, l-o-s, the "T" in TMC is capitalized!

I'm really considering buying a DS, but I'm hesitant to spend so much money (yeah, kids- some of us poor college students dun have much to spare!) with so few games that I'd be interested in (last handheld I had was my GBC...right before GBA came out. Damn Nintendo). If I'm ever going to play a decent Zelda game, it'll haveta be on a handheld. And if I'm ever going to get a DS, it'll haveta be worth it by having games that I'd want to grab in an instant. Otherwise, I'd probably just find myself playing the Advance games I've missed out on more than anything specifically for DS.
Besides, I can never get sick of OoT Link. ^___^

Oh god. Someone who agrees about The Minish Cap's 'T'. Yes. Capital 'T's all the way!

As someone who got to play Four Swords with other people, I consider the games brilliant. Single player they are lacking, however. As such, I anticipate FS DS.
As someone who got to play Four Swords with other people, I consider the experience just about equal, as far as enjoyment goes, with playing hopscotch on a bed of nails. But then, I just generally hate multiplayer games/game modes. Especially when the only factor given any real consideration is the multiplayer aspect, making the rest of the game suffer horrendously. But yeah, I'll shut up now, since I'm going pretty far off-topic...

I don't care what it says on the box, as a general rule I don't capitolize insignificant little words like "the", or "a", or "and" in the abbreviations of Zelda games.
So there
