So. Soaring = high altitude flying with only Mega Latias/Latios that lets you go to new hidden areas. Tiptoeing to surprise a shakeygrass Pokemon lets you catch one with an Egg Move already learned. Some interesting tidbits, it seems.

Is anyone playing the demo? It's quite short but you can replay it and receive different missions each time. It's also possibly the only way to get a Mega Glalie in the full game.

I'm not sure how the US gets the demo codes. I could've gone down to a store but instead I pre-ordered a-Sapphire on Amazon, received my demo code then cancelled my pre-order! ;d

Much like the Smash Bros codes, you have to be a registered Pokemon Trainer and opt in for e-mails. Most anyone who registered their games for GTS or Dreamworld or whatever is, you just have to go in and check the box.

Shout outs that Diancie is available for download by Gamestop code on XY starting today, for those of you wanting to bring it to ORAS for its Mega Evolution.

Has anyone else encountered the Special/Secret Mission in the Special Demo for the game yet? Was just wondering what the details are if anyone can provide it for a FAQ I was writing.

All I know is what serebii has up on his website. It doesn't sound like anything special unfortunately.

Yeah... heard it doesn't yield anything of importance... but for a thorough FAQ, would be good to know. I quoted what he got for now though, so should help!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here from the UK pre-ordered one of the special steelbooks? I'm getting the Omega Ruby steelbook myself because it looks insanely awesome.

I preordered from GAME for the figurine but I've never cared for extra cases so didn't bother with the more expensive version. Saving up for the Majora's Mask fancy edition.

As an aside, I picked up an extra Diancie code if anyone has missed out. Just let me know.

The steelbook actually wasn't more expensive than the regular version, at least not on the Nintendo Store (both versions cost £40). Unfortunately it's sold out now.

As handsome as that packaging is, I don't see myself getting into this game. X has been keeping me plenty busy as I fill out the pokédex and the fact that a lot of the improvements brought to the X/Y games aren't coming over doesn't do much for me.

EDIT: So I'll eat my words a bit, the improvements from X/Y are more or less still here and polished up. Still sore that some stuff didn't come over like trainer customization but that's a personal thing.

I'm relying on there being a way to rebattle trainers in these to make them my main game. I've been somewhat annoyed since Diamond at how hard it is to level up battle-ready pokemon. I've never cared for repeat Elite Four runs, many of my games have just the one Hall of Fame entry.

Well merry christmas to me!! :D

Crobat is my favourite Pokemon and now I'm on my way towards a shiny one. I've been going through Omega Ruby with a Crobat already, but it's now boxed at level 57. Sorry Purple Crobat, a Pink Crobat is awesome.

Man I've been stupidly lucky with shines in gen VI!

Wow. I've actually caught two shiny Golbats. One was in SoulSilver Victory Road, the other was on the tile DIRECTLY in front of Kyurem in Black.

Both of them ended up being traded to friends - one as a birthday gift and the other as a "get well soon" gift after her wisdom teeth were pulled.

I caught a shiny Gogoat in X, had perfect nature and everything. So choice. But yeah, I'm loving how often I run into agonies in this current gen.

So I was soft resetting my Diancie, when I hit a 31/30/31/31/31/31 Timid spread. (HP Dragon is meh, but...) Think those are the best IVs I've ever got from soft resetting!
