I don't know, they've been pretty common for me too. I find it boring that balloon gifts, and by extension, all slingshots, are basically useless in this game if you don't like balloon furniture. So I just ignore all the balloons that fly by now.

I got 2 slingshots tonight! But yeah, I get the stuff and then sell it. Cuz I like to pay things off as quickly as possible.

Yeah I don't care that much for most of the balloon furniture, but I do like to sell it off.

The way my town is arranged makes it difficult to chase the balloons, and making sure to pop it in a place so that the gift won't just disappear when it hits the ground because it's on a path and surrounded by bushes and trees with nowhere to go is even trickier. So running after them just to get something to sell isn't worth the effort for me. If my town wasn't completely covered in trees and paths then yeah I'd be shooting them down to sell.

I'm really distraught. Merengue told me Flora (MY FAVORITE EVER) was thinking about moving, but she didn't know if Flora was serious or not. So I went to talk to Flora but she wouldn't give me the "I'm thinking about moving" prompt so I didn't get the chance to beg her not to move. WHAT IF SHE MOVES BEFORE I CAN TELL HER NOT TO

 

Edit: Aaaaand Eugene just told me the same thing, so pretty sure it's for real. I've harassed Flora to the point of her telling me to go away like 4 times and she STILL hasn't brought it up. FLORA PLEASE NO DON'T LEAVE ME

I've just recently had Willow and Snake move in. So far I like Snake better than Flip, but I can't stop thinking that his design is kind of scary looking. XD I'm a little disappointed that it gave me another sheep when I've already had one... and she has the same personality type as the one that left, too. :/

I thought it was you! But I didn't know if you had the Dream Suite yet. I need to update the dream of my town badly but I need to finish reorganizing my house first.

I should stop being lazy and post my dream address. Even though my town isn't anything special Once I unlock the QR machine on my extra characters I'm gonna redo my paths and plant some bushes and stuff to make it look nice finally.

I think tomorrow is the last day they will be in bloom.

I've also updated the Dream of my town for the first time since last Fall, I think! The biggest thing that has changed is that I transferred all of my Japanese themed rooms into my secondary character's house and completely redecorated my main house.
