You know how there used to be Zelda Classic?
Well now there's Solarus. It's the same engine that was used to create the fangame Zelda: Mystery of Solarus DX. Just thought I'd inform you guys in case you wanted to do something.

Sweeet! I'll have to play around with this at some point.

I, too, am curious as to what I can do with this.

Personally, I think it would be neat if we did some collaborative project, but not having the time, it would be unfair of me to lead anyone on.

Despite my degree in game design I never had to mess around with any programming myself. I was the writer. So that may not work out so well. Hahaha. Mostly I wanna play with this to see what I can do.
Once everyone gets more free time, maybe. That does seem like a cool idea.

I've actually been playing that Solarus game recently and when I noticed that the engine was now being made available for use, I wondered if I'd be seeing a thread like this around here. I still feel a little bummed that our last video game project never got finished.. it would be kind of cool to see if we could actually complete one this time.

Yeah, Zelda collaborations never tend to go well.
You know that N64 one I mentioned some time ago? It's been cancelled. Should have seen that one coming.
