What do you mean you don't speak French? You're Canadian.

No, that was supposed to be like a characterization of Ted Danson's character on Cheers............................ in response.................................. it could have been awesome if I didn't suck, I'm sure.

You tried. I miss Cheers.

Not missing Cheers is like accepting the wholesale failure of humankind.

Close. It's the pinnacle of sitcom television.

I do have to concede that. While I didn't really like Cheers it's hard to think of a sitcom that was better.

I've never watched Cheers in my life.
.____.

I've heard of the title, but I couldn't tell you anything about the show. No theme song, nothing.
Am I done making you all feel old? :3:

I am surprised you haven't heard of the theme song at least, it is pretty famous.

So the theme song is a parody of that Flaming Moes song from the Simpsons?

Close. It's the pinnacle of sitcom television.

I've never seen Cheers, so I'm in no position to argue, but really? Better than Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army, Only Fools and Horses, Porridge, Some Mothers Do Have 'em, the Good Life, One Foot in the Grave, Keeping up Appearances, Steptoe and Son, Blackadder, Open All Hours... Etc.

Er...Cheers is an American sitcom, so I'm not sure there's even a fair point comparing. I've seen some of those shows and enjoyed them, but it's kinda two different spheres.

Cheers is best in US. I can't account for UK TV. However, if Cheers were played in different countries I'm sure it would adapt.

Fawlty Towers is probably a personal favourite of mine in terms of sitcoms just for the writing but you can't really touch Cheers because it had Ten Danson and Woody Harrelson. Not to mention the cameos and the less famous members of the cast that were amazingly awesome.

I did think it was funny. But that was an attempt to respond in such an overly boring way that there could be no follow up. I failed.
